I've become a strong believer in taking care of my roots, especially as I get into flower and have what amounts to a 1 gallon brick of roots on each plant. It's been stressed to me several times in recent convos with head growers that finishing a plant in flower properly is all about maintaining the health of the roots. I was meant to re-innoculate my bennies this past weekend but had run out of great white, and thanfully, this arrived today! Gotta admit, looks better than great white. I like that it's just bennies and trichoderma. Let's see how she do!

Yeah I'm gonna grab some of the grow one too. I think with great white you're meant to stop using halfway through flower, not sure why though... I like that this has the same species of bacteria and fungi as hydroguard and rootshield, plus it has nutrient cycling bacteria and decomposers in there too... going by the label it looks like awesome stuff.

Lol, I just went online and bought a half pound each of the RAW grow and bloom microbes. This stuff looks legit, and the reviews are excellent.

The thing is in Canada, you never know how long stuff like this will even be available. I wouldnt doubt that just like hydroguard, this stuff goes bye bye someday up here. Figure I should stock up.

I've used this before (I'm pretty sure I still have some left?) I don't recall how it worked, following along to find out your impression of it

Well fuck me... Where ya get it? I was scoping this out a few weeks ago and sat on it. Then grabbed some veggie myko when I was getting my vermiculite. I still have my hygrowzyme but nothing left in terms of BB only myko. Grrrr I'm torn on pulling the trigger.

How often do you plan on innoculating?

Got it on Amazon. Paid a little more than it's worth but not by much, and worth it to not have to go get it somewhere.

I inoculate bi-weekly in Veg and Ill do the same in flower.

I think you'll see some increased growth in veg but in flower, all I want this stuff to do is act as a root protectant. Playing with such a compact and dense root structure doesnt give a lot of wiggle room if something goes wrong.

And Mycos is good too but it's way more sensitive to nutrient concentrations and wont do much once P is over 60ppm. Trichoderma is a different animal and is largely antifungal, protecting against pythium and fusarium etc. But It also helps with transport and uptake of nutrients as well. I dont bother with Mykos anymore. I'm all about Bacillis and trichoderma.

enzymes should keep them fed well right? Does anyone know the typical lifespan of beneficial fungi?

Enzymes will feed them, so will the root exudate. I feel biweekly is enough to maintain it. And coco is the ideal host for all this stuff imho. It stays wet, and is rich in decomposing organic material other than just dead root hairs. Being able to use this stuff effectively is a huge reason I'm in coco right now. You can use it in rockwool too but it's slightly less hospitable.

yea I have the same thought process .. I went from soil, to promix, then somehow just kept adding more and more coco to the mix... lol keep chipping away at the coco mountain @Dirtbag and by next run ill be 100% coco.

Nice. 100% coco works great for doing somewhat bigger plants in 1 gal pots like I've got, but any bigger like 2 or 3 gal I'd add 30% chunky perlite to it.

Honestly if this run finishes up as well as it's gone so far, I'm not going to be growing in anything else again. It's too easy, and some of these strains Ive had for a long time look healthier and more productive than I've ever seen them. I'm 1000% sold on this method.

Alright I caved... 1/2lb each. Still not much more than 1/2 price of hydrogaurd and if it's half as good I will be more than happy. Think it will last me a looong ass time. You will understand if you have ever purchased hydrogaurd in Canada

Dude I just compared the cfu per gram with great white, this stuff is about 120x more concentrated.

Check these numbers.... Plus RAW has the bacillis that's in hydroguard, GW doesnt seems to.
