Wondering if I did this correctly and what to watch for also what benefits come from staking

Wondering if I did this correctly and what to watch for also what benefits come from staking

I use a single stake in the center and tie the top of branches to the center pole with a thick yarn often. The other thing you can do is tie thick yarn/string around the outside of the plant. There isn't a single way to do most things though.

This is my first time growing my own plant and I'm OCD and wanna make sure I'm doing it correctly and not jeopardizing my girls health lol.. your girl looks great!
 
as mentioned, several ways to accomplish. I like to use wire cages around the plant. Very quick and it provides support to the branches automatically as they grow through the cage. Best of luck.
 
I had good success with my trial run staking thusly. Lol QP from that plant in 7.5 weeks.
