you do it wet?

I think I'm going to take these two plants and let them do a few more days, then I'm going to try something new, let them dry out in the pots, and just put the dehumidifier on them, and dry them out real good, right on the vine, roots in the ground, for say 48-72 hours or so, then just let them dry, start cure resting in the in the soil, for 10 days, or however long it takes.

Not wet, I cheated a little. If you need it dry in an instant, then 30 seconds at a time on a sandwich plate in the microwave, keep moving the bud every time you micro it until it dries, not the best way. The nugg in my diary was sun dried. But if I don't have the time, micro that nugg.

Some times to test i just grind an leave her open or under the lights not directly or back in the dry room for a bit then she has a sweet fresh taste the half way down starts to get to temp an bang there's the money shot 😂

Doing it as we speak 😂

Took these just now. They are in the middle of their 18 hour veg cycle.

The little new Herijuana x Jack’s are ready for topfill and first feed tonight at lights on.

The BLT’s still in the red cups are to be transplanted up to 1 gallons. If light enough (I didnt check) i might do it this cycle.

The wind and air flow is a little strong for young veg in the flower room. Inprefer to see the leaves a bit more relaxed and happy.

After these veg will be in the tent i posted earlier. Im going to run the 315 at 90% and use a 4” inline exhaust fan with a speed controller usually on half speed. Plenty of light but milder conditions overall for veg.

For numbers the plants are around 75 degrees farenheight and 60% humidity. And 35” to 40” leaves away from the lamp. I adjust the plant stands often to see happy flat leaves if possible under the lamp.

Thanks. All but the new seedlings have been treated with Imid for the root aphid infestation that shut me down after almost 6 years growing perpetually in that room.

The plants in 1 gallons will get a follow up treatment of Botaniguard just to be sure. After that i should be clear. I threw away or harvested any infected plants last month.

And in 90 more days or sooner we should start harvesting regularly again.

Good thing i have a bin of jars cured from the last plants. Low yield from the bugs but pretty high quality from the now switched to pro mix hp and dyna grow foliage pro and protekt.

Seems like the strains have more individual almost cleaner smells and flavors and resin production was signifigantly higher than with pure blend pro. I hope that is not from the stress but we will see. I know the phenos that come from the seeds i planted pretty well and have grown many of each.

But the CH9 era is coming to an end. He wont send me any more seeds to america so i will move on to other breeders. Have packs already.

I do have quite a few selfed or accidental seeds stashed from old grows too. And some old trades from forums. Somewhere i have a couple original stella blue dream seeds. Those s-1’s grew real official looking and smelling blue dream.

I was going to mention that as a possibility because I saw a similar effect when I had root aphids. Plants under attack from bugs or sometimes even nutrient stressed do get frostier and more resinous. I noticed that with my crops that had RA's too, buds were smaller and way more resinous.
Using chitosan can produce similar results by signaling plant defense pathways without actually handicapping the growth rate.

There is an old school tomato growers trick of stressing the plants roots with absurdly high EC mid bloom to stress them and it can almost double the lycopene content in the fruit, but they come out small, nearly half the size, with twice as much flavor. It's not a technique you will ever see used in commercial tomato production due to yield losses, but it works.

I can give you a root disease that will stress your plants into seeds!

They are hard to spot, but if you really look you'll see them. This is on the side of a pot. Had to cut through the pot to get a good view of what was going on inside. If you think you have fungus gnats, you need to get a good loupe and do some serious scouting. They look very similar, but i will take fungus gnats anyday.

I cant get the vid to play but seeing the tiny bugs on the side of the pot is how i finally noticed them and then was able to see the difference between them and gnats on the hanging yellow sticky cards.

No topping or anything on BLT? Jw since is figure a Thai would get unwieldy.

I like to grow them up without delay in veg and bend them to promote branching during stretch in 12/12.

That said if one gets too tall i will still top it in veg. But if i top i always want to veg longer to finish topping into a bush.

You are right about the genetics though. Some phenos will keep growing most of the way through flower. Ya have to pinch and bend branches for months. But i have got a half pound out of a 3 gallon pot like that.

Most of them stay pretty compact. They were ch9 premium breeding plant. The toxic blue 33 that was combined with lemon thai was a chunky stout girl.

But the weight is different for different elements.

And even so. The directions say 300 gallons to 1.6 oz. which is 9.6 teaspoons.

The measurement for the half gallon i need tonight is immeasurably small.

Do i just weigh a half gram and go with it?

I really dont want to wing it. Lol
Should be very close. Halg gal .25 gram

I would weight a 1/2tsp and then use the conversion. But im sure it will be close.

Imo ita always better to mix more but inwould have no iaaue weighing an

Cant you just take 28.375g an oz and × by 1.6 giving you 45.4 total grams per 300 gal. ÷ 45.4 by 300 giving you .151 multiply it by 5 giving you .755..or am i off for some reason?
