Just picked up a new microscope today. Finagled with taking some Trichome shots. I'll work on getting some more once I figure out a stability platform for it.

I'm on the fence with nutes right now. Over the next several grows I will likely try many different varieties I imagine.

I was actually going to start with Dyna Grow and Bloom but two different orders of it got lost in the delivery process so I gave up on that for now...Lol
I ordered the "grow,Bloom, & Proteck but the Proteck did not get in the order and @Growace never resolved the issue.

I was reading through an article someone else had posted in another thread:

And was wondering if the "False Seed Pods" mentioned in the article are what I am seeing here on my plant?

I've never really noticed this or looked for it the last time I grew so it had me intrigued. I went to check my plant this morning and I came across a number of these.

Getting close to harvest time here! My gal has stopped sucking up water as fast as she used to. Her pistils are starting to brown and most trichomes are cloudy at this point:

I am waiting until the trichomes get roughly 10% amber in color. So far though, there are no signs of Amber trichs. So close yet so far 🥴.

Day 55/Day 28 Flower:

This is probably my final feeding for Ms. banner. I fed her the following today:

5ml CalMag/gal
5ml Grow Big/gal
15ml Tiger Bloom/gal
45ml of Big Buds/gal

And enough for two gallons of water.

She is starting to mature fast. She's not a frothy as I thought she'd get but my beginning light may have played a role in that. She does have some light burn from my new light too but at this point I'm not worried about it anymore.

Here is a photo with some contrast:

Her she is in her (my opinion) massiveness:

I figure I have probably another week or two to go still. I'm seeing signs of Amber in the trichomes but they are ever so slight. Here are some trich pics from today:

So far I've had little to no problems with this auto. After ordering Auto seeds I read a lot about people having issues with them. Personally, I'll have a nice bounty from this plant once finished. I won't have pounds...but I'm not looking for pounds either...Lol. Just some good dank weed to grow and enjoy!

That's it for today and probably until harvest post and pics. Cheers friends!

I was rotating the pot while trying to water her tonight and split a lower node. At this point I may as well cut it off. Here she is:

This is exciting because this was one of the lowest branches on her 🥳

Every time I think I see some Amber I can never find it again. How much further should I nurture her before flushing for harvest based on you folks experiences? I've heard of trichomes not turning Amber based on genetics. Her leaves and pistils are showing signs of maturity but the trichomes...not so much.

Thanks! She is still going strong. The lower fan leaves are starting to die off as of yesterday and she is starting to yellow in many spots so I think we are approaching the home stretch with her. I'll just keep checking her daily 😁

Day 69/Day 42 Flower:

Miss Banner is definitely showing signs of ripening and the buds are getting denser and fatter according to my wife. I think they've looked the same for the last week...Lol. Anyways, she said let it continue to grow as I had thoughts of cutting her down this weekend.

She also said, "Think of the Frozen song, Let it Go but in this case Let it GROW"...Lmao! One of the many reason I love her.

Here is a pic with a PH pen for bud size comparison:

Here is a close up of her frothyness from today:

That's it for now. The wait continues...😎

So approximately 39 hours or so from my last post at least 15-20% of the trichomes we're changing to Amber. This happened really quickly so I cut Miss Banner down. I was honestly expecting a more gradual change...Not a significant change within 48 hours.

So she is cut and being trimmed as we speak. Here is about half of the yield (With a typical 16oz glass for bud comparison) already:

Here is the other half that is in progress:

My house smells SO DANK, it's true...harvesting/trimming smells way more than peak flower. I had to pause trimming to go do some errands and when my wife opened the door to our house from the garage when we got home...Woof! I bet my neighbors can smell this just by opening the doors 🤯

I am going to wet trim obviously. I will hang the plants upsidedown from hangers in a closed closet in my lower level with a fan blowing on em for 7-10 day or more. Depending on stem moisture I will then break up and jar for curing.

The RH down there is approximately 40% so I shouldn't have much to worry it about with the addition of a fan.

All the "Shake" or trimmings will be getting processed with Coconut Oil for making homemade gummies. I'll be sure to include that process here to help finalize the harvest.

Cheers folks! Remember that the only limitations you have with growing weed indoors is yourself. K.I.S.S. for the first few 😉.

More later...
