DB, i just did a syringe test and somehow the ec was at 1.2 and ph at 6.0
i guess without watering on time, its going to be a battle keeping the rockwools in range.

Don't worry too much about syringe testing until the plants are bigger. For now just feed low, like 0.7 or so and it'll be fine. Just make sure you get lots of runoff when you do water to reset the media.

I did water it at 0.7ec and 4.5ph and the 10% run off was at 1.0ec with 5.6ph
lol, my worry is that i know my self. I have a bad habit of nuking seedlings 😄

the problem is anything lower than 5 can break down the structure of the rockwool. Plus, 4.5 is just too low in general. Don't stress so much on the runoff pH, it's like coco in that regard. Kind of a useless metric. Runoff EC is about the only thing you need to monitor, and if I'm honest, I hardly do that since the plants are content as they are.

Here’s a odd question for who wants to call me a dumbass - I have clones in solos in promix do you think there’s any chance of getting them in rock wool ? Or just wAit it out and run clones in the rock wool

are they rooted? if not, sure, you can pull em up clean em up and drop em in some wool. otherwise, grow em out, take clones off of them and put the new clones in wool.

Nah they are fully rooted - I’ll wait it out - just don’t want to bring dirt into my new tents , we will veg a month or two and clone - I have a mother almost ready couple more weeks I’m just anxious lol

i get it haha there's nothing quite like growing in wool. for all of its flaws (primarily health risks while dry and environmental consequences that aren't real issues imo) it's by far the best medium to grow in. way too easy.
