They turned out to be just fine. Trichs are all still intact, the WW is wicked purple today.

Sorry! Not really sure what happened there ! Was just tryingto give a like 😂😂

Chopped the oldest and youngest girls this morning. I got the drying area dialed in and can hopefully get some snap, crackle, pop on the stems within a couple weeks. The whole house smells like grilled pineapples and diesel fuel from this Maui Wowie, which is pleasant enough that I hope that roommates don't mind 😁
2 down, 1 to go!

On a side note, I used light pressure, the strong spray setting on the hose nozzle, and a lot of water to rinse these buds off, and I'm glad I did. It's hard to see in the pics, but the film contains quite a bit of what looks like dust, pollen, and cobwebs.

I have one HHH mother and one hhh clone left. They are weeks behind the other plants. I've already harvested all my girls, but the triple h plants. Bud structure is not the greatest for some reason they're tiny buds. They got the same treatment as all the other plants. Compost teas plenty of sunlight. They're in ground so there's plenty of root space. No rocks underground to stop the root growth. Scratching my head why they're so small compared to the others. But she's pretty frosty looks like majority of the hairs and started turning brown. Not quite shriveled and I checked the trichomes and they are majority milky a little bit of clear. Haven't seen any Amber yet. So I'm thinking maybe a week and a half two weeks out. I live in New England so I'm praying to the fall gods up here to not let it hard freeze or rain. I know that's asking a lot for up here lol. They smell wonderful. This is the first time I've grown triple h. A buddy of mine found it and he gave me a couple seeds. One was male and the other one was female. I'm not too sure what the parents of this plant is. I can't find much online. The triple h definitely has a sweet aromatic scent, almost perfumey floral. To be honest, it doesn't even smell like cannabis. It smells like a flower. If anybody knows anything about the triple h strain, please let me know what you know about it.

Gnarly cold front thunderstorms, I’ve harvested the top, hoping the bottom will fill out, I had an idea as it was thundering in the distance! She’s dry and fine!

I didn’t do a grow journal for this but I’m happy with the results for a first time grower. Unknown strain outdoor soil grow with fox farm veg nutes and Gaia 4-4-4 during flower. And a lil cal mag every so often. Buds didn’t fatten up as much as I had hoped for but I’ll get that right on the next one.

Just to sum up my first grow. Had to chop a week and a half early because of mother nature but I learned a lot and ended up with 5.75 oz from one plant. Definitely a head banger that mellos out over time and keeps you chill for quite awhile. So, yeah me... Successful grow and can't wait until my next run.

Congratulations on your first successful grow. Every year you will learn something new and you will be able to get better and better. It looks good and you did better than my first grow. But that was the early 2000s and not much help or support on the internet so I had to figure it out on my own. I hope you kill it the next round.

Thanks, me too lol.

I have done a h2o2 bud wash on all but one of my outdoor plants this year. The non washed and a couple washed are in their curing phase now and from my early sampling the washed stuff is a smoother feel.

I think a lot of what washes off is hydrocarbons from pollutants, little oil slicks on the water.

I washed for the first time ever this year, (outdoor crop), and it did have some kind of film on the water that was noticeable, like a mixture of dust/pollen and oil of some sort. The plants were so sticky that I'm sure they were magnets for everything in the air, which would make your pollutant hypothesis make sense. The plants are still drying, but I'm real interested to see if the washing is noticeable on the smoking side.

Question about outdoor grows: Bud rot appeared on my biggest colas, as usual, but it was worse on the 'rock hard' ones and almost not at all on the soft ones. Same plant. This is my 4th year growing outdoors and I'm still learning lots every time.
