Upside to autos is I put them in a 5 gallon fabric pot with dry amendments, and microbes. Soil pre-amendments take care of the 1st month, my dry amendments hit around month 2 by the time you can see the plants uptaking it, and feed with liquid neuts through flower, so no up-potting etc usually done in 90 days seed to harvest, downside much less available time to train, too, do any kind of messing with the plant pre-flower, but trained right the tops do very well on their own

Took some time and a lot of wire and binder clips but you can achieve a nice flat top canopy with autos and heavy LST early

The photos you’ve got the security of being able to rectify an issue/deficiency without affecting them in the long run. Having the ‘unlimited veg’ is a big key factor in my grows. Getting them girls right from the beginning.
