We're going to need some massive external threat for this divided world to come together... like alien invasion or something... aside from that, we'll probably just keep squabbling amongst ourselves until we cause the fall of civilization or the death of the planet... whichever comes first... or as a fun third option, AI takes over and we live in a matrix like dystopian nightmare to serve our AI overloards. Either way, we've got good weed to watch the show unfold lol.
The problem with politics and government is about MONEY and nothing else. Money makes the world go around and in politics even moreso. The division is coming from the same powers that are controlling government now. Once you've established "sides" you can exploit each side by manufacturing disinformation and outright lies.

One of the reasons nothing gets done is because 3/4 of the time in office its about fundraising and campaigning for the next election. If you pay attention most legislation is just a bandaid to the immediate problem but not a real solution. None of these MFer's actually craft legislation. Their staffers are the ones that do all the groundwork. They're just the pretty faced blowhard that puts it into action. Any real solution in government needs to be systemic and not addressing a flare up but they're too busy raising funds for the next election. Presidential elections used to be funded by the US Government and the only other money allowed to be used for this purpose was through small dollar donations along with corp caps. Once SCOTUS passed Citizens United vs FEC and McCutcheon vs. FEC the floodgates of money from private corps and mega donors came roaring onto the scene. Not that it wasn't before but not in the amounts and doing so was risky, i.e. Jack Abramoff.

This now enables mega donors and big corps to control legislation that moves through congress. If they don't like a law that may affect their bottom line guess who gets a call with veiled threats of pulling campaign funding?

IMO, they need to outlaw PAC's and return to the previous model shutting out big money influence. Shit like ALEC also needs to be removed.

Gerrymandering on both sides. Why do lines need to be drawn by the state legislature? That's like letting the fox guard the hen house. Lay a grid across the state and let candidates running for that district win on their merits and accomplishments rather than the influence of the state Party bosses. Gerrymandering is a nice way of saying rigging the election. You want to return integrity to the vote? Outlaw gerrrymandering.

Weird goings on here in the bog garden.
I thought it might have died over winter, it was unusually cold a couple times and rainier than Noah’s launch.

The sun is beginning to wake everything up.
So cool. Wonder how one would do in the tent.

100%. It's all a smokescreen to keep us distracted from the fact that politicians don't have our best interests in mind AT ALL. Lobbyists need to be outlawed and the superpac nonsense... just big pharma, big oil, big whatever corporation... paying for whomever has THIER best interests in mind to win the election and make the laws that make them richer... and us morons get to feel like we actually had a choice by voting. People say the system is broken, but it's working exactly how the powers that be intended. But I digress... politics talk probably doesn't get us anywhere... pass the doobie. 😁

I had a sundew in the shed, in my veg area, it loves a bit higher humidity, so it has to be in a fish bowl, loved the environment until one week when both my girlfriend and I forgot to refresh the water.
It fried a bit but pulled through.

They worked great, just need some attention.

Maybe too arrid in the tent, most carnivores like jungle like humidity.

The problem
People who smoke a lot of marijuana often report they either don't dream or don't remember their dreams. That's because marijuana can diminish the quality of our REM — rapid eye movement — sleep. That's when our most vivid dreams occur. According to a sleep expert who recently published a review article, Dr. Rubin Naiman from the University of Arizona's Center for Integrative Medicine, we are in the midst of an epidemic of REM sleep deprivation. And he says it's not just marijuana that can affect our REM sleep.
'There are a number of factors that feed into this epidemic of diminished REM sleep. And one of them includes substances, which primarily are alcohol and cannabis ... So many of the most commonly used medications both prescription and over-the-counter medications can interfere with REM sleep. Examples include benzodiazepines or anti-anxiety agents antidepressants drugs that are known as anticholinergic, which are a range of medicines that affect a gastric function and also allergy. And finally sleep disorders themselves, primarily insomnia and sleep apnea, also contribute significantly diminishing REM sleep.

Very interesting, however, this has been my entire life and I did not always partake and do no alcohol at all. About five hours per night since I was a wee one. I wore my poor Momma out!

From CBC government news propaganda sheets. Anything negative on cannabis will be reported on CBC, they still have to put out the naysayers bullshit. To legalize it they had to give the staunch & powerful naysayers a voice in legalization, create stupid rules, make things difficult for the home grower, tax the shit out of it and give them power on CBC to push their negativity..( I may have made up that last one)...

I saw that headline on their site this am. I smoke like chimney and I've a great dream life......fkin more BS from CBC.......ooops I got ruffled........smoke 2

If it was a law that everyone must consume 1 fatty in the am...1 in the afternoon and 2 in the evening, we would all be at peace. Its harder to get really pissed off when you're hi...................Your feathers may get ruffled by something but smoke 1 or 2 and what's that???? a shinny bobble in the corner, pass the nacho's

I know where Moe is and will share that with you privately. I tagged Aqua the other day with an EC water question and so far no answer. Aqua does that from time to time.
Mornin Bubs!
Buenas dias Cannagranny! Oh ok gotcha! I guess we all get distracted from the farm from time to time :D. Finally rained around here and made our roads NOT a dust bowl for once. Stoked to get out and ride after I get some stuff done, gorgeous weather! Gonna be like upper 60's all week. Hope we get more rain, so far its been one of the driest springs in a while.

Im going to run like 69-70F last week or two of flower this next run to try and get some more terps and flavonoids. Maybe just dip your temps lower to urge the girls into ripening quicker?

I am more than excited to be. We have the best strains out there at the best prices.
Hey @kattybrown nice to have you! I see you are new to this forum. A couple of things to make your time here more pleasant.
One, start your own topic when you are advertising your business. It’s actually considered a bit rude to hijack another’s.
Two, no advertising here as a business without the owner’s permission. The others you have no doubt seen doing that, pays a fee each month to be able to do that. Here you have to pay to play.
Once again happy to have you stop by and visit my corner 🥰
