Hey there mmmhmmm2010, I ran a very similar light (blurple) a couple years ago in a 3X3 tent. I had exact issue you are having. It was just a shitty light, very inexpensive, stretched my plants, small little buds but mind you they were quite frosty. Next grow, I had switched out the light to a spider farmer sf2000 (200watts) and BOOM ........ Made a world of difference.
I suggest replacing the lights to a solid name brand light!

Yes they are on. I got bloom and veg mode on. On both lights. The other light is a reptile uv bulb. I added just to get some light to the lower sections. Ima look into some better lights for sure. I would love to hear some recommendations of some good lights

uvb should only be used a couple hours a day in the final three weeks. All it does is increase terps. not going to help your bud size issue at all. get rid of it. MIGRO channel on yt. he has a uv playlist. very informative channel on lighting and the science behind it.

They are awful 100 watts for that cheap, get a vipraspectre or mars hydro light, also don't purposely make them cold it slows down their growth. If you are new, then stop trying to add variables that you do not understand, if you want purple, buy seeds that are of purple plants. The cold floor plus temps probably slowed her down on top of a bad light. Good luck recovering, warmer temps, new light

Checked out some videos on MIGRO's youtube. I went with one he recommends. And got 2 of them bitches. Thanks yall. Hopefully I chose a good one... so many to pick from.

yeah those should do you some good. Just be careful of the leds as they are not protected. The good news with that is you get a little bit better par by not having a layer of latex over them. Clean/dust em with a paint brush instead of a rag. Should be good to go. Those are just as good as any other full spectrum led light on the market. They are all more or less the same. Just some are a little more efficient and cost less to run. And some offer a touch more green for penetration. Just saying don't let anyone tell you that you need better. You don't.
Now lets talk about the far red led on there. They cause stretch. It's the wavelength that make plants think they are in the shade. There should only be one far red led on each board. It's the one that barely puts out red light. Cover it up if you want. Or don't, but you are fighting stretch, so might be best. I cover mine by grabbing black tape and putting a piece of paper over the led and then putting tape on. That way led protected. Far red is used during veg and after the first three/four weeks of flower... once they stop stretching. They don't cause a lot of stretch. But indoors any extra stretching is too much.

I see peeps hammering you on cold temps. There's a chart. Not sure what it's called, I got mine from buildasoil site. Probably have to scroll down to bottom of page. Click blog. Then you can find. might be in educational up top instead. Can't remember. It will tell you temps humidity and par. When people say 'dialed in'.... this is what they mean. Along with nutes of course. But temp humid light play every bit an important role as nutes. Nothing wrong with leaving pot on floor. People have been growing with pots on basement floors for ages. You want the soil/roots to be colder than the plant itself. If not... cannabis seeds wouldn't sprout at 60-65 degrees. I grew hydro a long time ago. Chilled my water with a window ac unit. Worked great. Had all kinds of purple. Not sure what that guy is talking about.

Sweet I will keep that in mind man. I appreciate you dude. I just need recommendations on products man. That guy migro said that light really impressed him. Not sure what products are good and what's bad. Ya know? But Yea I've read pretty deep into the whole purple thing. I feel like 62 is not even that cold of a temp either. Alot of the articles I was reading say "less than 60". Im just unclear on when to start that? But I was scared to go any lower with the issues im having. The seeds I got are from a plant with purple genetics tho. I do know that. So I know it's possible. Might save it for next grow. Since these ones are doing what they're doing tho. And just keep my Temps up in the 70's ish area

My understanding.... though lot of info has come out since I did that twelve to fifteen yrs ago... is it's the roots that need to be cold. My water was 60'ish degrees and my room was eighties. Apologies if I dumbed things down too much. I skimmed more than read before. Now I see this isn't your first. Just the first time this has happened.
tbh I don't worry about all that anymore. It's too stressful and adds a lot of uncertainty and cost. I just make sure there is no direct heat on my soil and let the leds keep the tent at 80. Going to add uvb in at the end this time though. See if it makes any noticeable difference in smell/flavor.
Do you pay attention to par? the migro channel you can search for ppfd app for android. That app combined with a $35 light meter with bluetooth from amazon will give you accurate par readings. It's kinda great.

Gotta dumb it down dude. I know a whole lot about nothing, that's why I'm here asking for help lol. Shit light quality Makes sense tho cause I usually only get like a zip off each plant usually at most. But this is the First time I've ever had stretching tho. I knew the lights were shitty, just didn't know it would cause stretching. Yea after hearing you say it's a hassle I prolly won't do it either. I just love the look of the purple nuggs. It's so pretty. It all smokes tho in the end. So i May as well choose the easier route. The science behind it all confuses me. The whole thing. Like par and uva and b. Pretty much the whole lighting aspect of it all, I'll just have to look into. And learn more about. That migro guy is pretty cool tho. Talks alot about stuff I don't understand but I'll have to look into and learn. I'm finally starting to grasp the whole "feeding" concept. Didn't understand that all that well either. Like deficiencies and how to fix them and what to feed them and when. Got alot to learn man. I'm just doing it for head smoke tho so it's all trial and error so far. I learn something new everytime I grow a new plant

You can grow cannabis in either a solid pot (with drainage holes) or cloth grow bags, neither stop roots from getting oxygen

Hold up a sec your temps only 62f and you plan to max it out at 70f that’s still a bit colder than likeable.
Plants indoors prefer around the 75f-80f mark
Ok 75f if you’ve got a mh or hps light but under leds 80f is fine
They do grow slower at low temps that I know from experience not a manual or something written by a blogger

I said 70s -ish. Didnt think i had to specify my temp at this point. I don't need to explain shit cause the issues been resolved...., But my hi temp today was 78. My low temp so far. Is 68. I put a camera in tent starting yeaterday to record temps through out the day for adjustments on how I want it.

N keeping the temp at 80 in 47 degree weather isn't an option for me bud. I got a shit tent made out of tarps and pvc pipe rn. I'm not growing in my home any more. Had to make a temporary tent all fast like and in a hurry with shit laying around my garage so Eat shit. Sorry everything's not perfect for your likings.
