Nice seedlings everyone! I'm curious for those who have been having issues with germination, is there any commonality between the seeds being germinated? Where they came from?

Are the seeds even viable? An easy test is the initial 24 hour soak in water should swell the seeds enough with water for them to sink. If they haven't and you can't physically knock the seeds down under water than most likely the seeds aren't viable. You want plump tiger striped mature seeds. Anything pale green and small most likely will not be a winner. A more drastic test is trying to crush one with your fingers. If you can easily crush a seed with just your fingers than it's not viable either. These are some Colombian Miracle F² seeds I bred myself, good viable seeds.

It should be as easy as 24 hours in water, 48-72 hrs out of water in a moist, dark environment. Two paper plates and a moist paper towel is all you should need to get cannabis seeds to germinate.

Does this count?? Lol snoops dream x landrace sativa that was in a small population they appeared to be growing wild. Granted it could have been feral. Either way, I found myself in nature and made the cross with the snoop mom I already had.

Get a red light and put it on it. I liked to do a half hour before lights on continuing for an hour to an hour and a half after lights on. Same thing but reversed for lights out. Red promotes stretching and that timeframe simulates sunrise and sunset
I think the lights or controller should do that. They should taper on in the morning and off at night. Is this how you always do your lighting? I think that would be best for the ladies not to be shocked awake.
