I usually don't have too many issues using FFOF for my seedlings. I think it is strain dependent though. The strain i am growing right now is a it more difficult than others I have grown in the past. In the future I will be starting my seedlings in some non fertilized peat moss. Ill do a layer of peat moss on top followed by ocean forest/perlite underneath. That way the seedlings has a couple of inches to put its roots down before it hits the hotter soil. Plants are growing good though. I am gone for the weekend, when I get back I will be transplanting them into their final homes. Still debating whether or not 2.5 gallon pots are enough or if I should go bigger. Transplanted into 2.5 gallon pots. I was thinking about going bigger but I won't be growing these out that huge anyway. They were pretty root bound in those tiny 1 gallon pots. Plants looked like crap after reporting but bounced right back overnight. Few more weeks and off to flower.

Just a quick update. One more week I'm thinking before the flip, maybe two. This strain almost trippled in height during flower my last run so I don't want to risk the head room. I have surgery next week so I have to time it properly. I will also be germinating some new beans any day now. My buddy sent me ton of freebies from Colorado Seed Company this week. If everything works out perfect ill have 4 plants vegging in the closet while these are flowering and so on and so on. Trying to get that scheduling dialed in.

Just about finished with week 1 of flower. Plants are growing fast and stretching like crazy. Switching to bloom nutes next week. The plant on the left has been a pain in my ass though. She's been really hard to keep happy. Dont think ill be growing that strain again. The other ones have been really easy to work with. Should start seeing them put down some pistils in the next couple of weeks.

Week 4 Flower. Ran into some issues. Found out I had a spider mite problem about a week and a half ago. I've got them under control I think. It doesn't seem like they are multiplying and no webbing. I hit them with an isopropyl/water spray a couple times and I think it did a pretty god job. Ill be integrating a pest prevention regimen my next grow. I also fed them a tad too much as I have minor signs of excessive nitrogen. I cut back on the nutes this week and just gave them plain water. Girls are bouncing back from both issues so I am relieved for now. Keeping my fingers crossed for the next 4 weeks. I almost thought the mites would have been the end for me. I am germinating some feminized Aloha Limone atm as well. Will be vegging them in my closet space once they pop.

Plqnts are starting to look and smell fire. I got rid of the mite problem. No more mites from what I can tell. My foliage definately took a hit though from the bugs and from spraying them down. They would be a lot prettier had that problem been avoided. Im happy tho. Loooks like its gonna smoke real good. Id say two weeks left tops.

Went ahead and defoliated a lot of the leaves. We've got another 2 weeks left I'd say. Foliage definately took a hit from the small mite problem i had. I think they took more damage from the treatment than the actual bugs themselves. Idk tho. Hard to say. Good news is that I didn't see a single live mite and never had a single web. Caught that shit in time thankfully! Hopefully a good clean after harvest and the problem will be fully eradicated. I hope so as summertime is a lot more problematic season as far as bugs go. We shall see. I think with a proper prevention regimen I should be straight. Buds look hella fire tho. The Sour Garlic Bread is my favorite. Super chunky and sour smelling bud. Buds are really compact and dense too. The two SGB look completely different. Phenos are so diverse. Dank for sure all around though! Really happy with my results even with the couple speed bumps. The plants on the right were grown from my first grows seeds. One plant went herm and I didn't catch it in time. I ended up with like 100 seeds, bud was still good tho. No sign of hermies this time around. Shit worked out in the end. Now I have a ton of fire beans that likely are all female. Anyhow, I started another thread as I'm vegging three one week old Feminized Aloha Limone seedlings from Colorado Seed Company in my closet. Gonna throw them in the tent after I nuke and clean it in a few weeks. Follow my 3rd grow there. Search Aloha Limone! Thanks and cheers yall!

From what I can see the “burn” you mentioned looks to be on the older leaves, not the new ones coming in. But pic is too far so I can’t confirm. Perhaps you had em too close to the light?

Or the water droplets on the leaves could have intensified the light thus burning the plant. I’m still a new grower so I’m mostly using intuition and speculation. But trouble shooting problems are super important to me, so I can avoid em myself.

I have had OF burn many plants. Almost every time they are %100 nitrogen toxic i have pictures of that for proof too if you really need it. Idk what this guys particular problem was but I wanted to mention this about fox farms since everyone seems unsure on its heat level. It WILL burn autos. Not all of them. But weak ones.

I think I'm gonna run some different soil this time around. Im thinking about running either roots organic, lush, or mother earth. Heard good things about all of them. Maybe ill give happy frog a shot. Well see. I think I know what my problem was this time around tho, which is good. I transplanted too many times. I went from a 1 gallon pot to their final 2.5 gallon pot and didn't wait long enough for my new soil to get depleted. I went straight to veg nutes because I thought it would be necessary for the stretch. I had plenty of juice in there to get me thru the last weeks of veg and into flower without adding nutes. Mind you I started at a very small dosage and worked my way up. However I still ran into a nitrogen toxicity issue. Now I'm gonna go from solo cup straight to their final home. That way the plant is in the same soil all the way up until flower and I can feed it when it starts showing signs of hunger. Its easy to mess up when you are doing multiple transplants and not giving the plants enough time to eat all the food in their new home. Im gonna go ahead and cut the soil a bit more this time as well. I found a really cheap local potting soil that mixes well with the FFOF and perlite. I was looking for a soil that was a bit more loamy. The perfect mixture of clay, silt, and sand is what I found. My seedlings are in there right now and they are looking good. Anyway the plants are all turning a bit purple right now. My phone camera sucks and doesn't do them justice. Buds are super dense too. Im thinking Monday March 18th will be harvest day.

Harvest at the end of the week im thinking. Pics don't do it justice. Phone camera kinda sucks. Buds look fire though imo. Lots of pretty colors in there. Purple hues in the buds as well. Ill prob chop next Monday. Gonna give her another week to ripen nicely.

Nothing but good news this time around! Went ahead and waited a bit longer to chop. Plants all came down today though. Im extremely impressed with the results. The Sour Garlic Bread had two very different phenos. Both really nice! Very sour skunky musky almost rotten fruit smells! I love a good sour strain! My other Mystery strain is equally as good. More on the gassy kush type of smells! Very happy with both. I still have some more of the same beans so I'll definitely grow again! I think a six plant run with a shorter veg time is ideal really. This was all grown under only 330 watts of led mind you. However, I was gifted a brand new 650 watt Spider Farmer SF7000 by a friend, which I'm super stoked to try on my next run! Check out my other Aloha Limone grow! Sorry my phone camera sucks..

Still curing. Very happy with my results. Turned out really good even with the few issues I ran into. The taste is phenomenal! I'll probably veg a bit longer my next run to maximize yield. On tp the next one!
