Im just starting out and learning as much as i can and working with what i have. How can i dwarf my plant without completely trashing yield?
Im very inexperienced, is it possible to dwarf my marjuana plant so it dosnt grow more than 3ft?

I had this problem with my first grow. I cut the plant in half . Got some nice buds later on too.

smaller pot make smaller plant, constrain the root in a small volume and you'll get a bonsaï plant

This is currently what im working with, i dont know the strain as it was from a random bud i bought that had seeds 2 years ago.

yeah you can also just top, lst and/or main line to keep height under control and fill the area with colas.

Why dont you take 3’ off the table and grow a 6’ plant? Cant smoke table legs. Ive tried

One of my first grows (1991 in a closet with fluorescents) I tried an experiment… I already had a couple of 3’ plants ready to flower but wanted to see what would happen if a plant didn’t really vegetate at all. I dropped a seed into a gallon pot, started flowering when the first five point leaves appeared, and just kept topping it anytime there was a new node. I ended with the cutest little bushy plant about 2 feet tall and one of the best smokers ever.

Do i need a tent or reflective surface to grow well? Or would growing out in the open of my basment with a decent light overhead work?

if it's a photoperiod a closed space like a tent will be essential for proper light dark cycle for flowering

Is the semi see through mylar film ok for photoperiod or should i invest in a tent before the flowering stage?

I currently only have mylar film and with it being semi see through is that kind of setup ok for the vegitative state? And thank you for the articles!
