Going for a run what you brung/every man grow. Soil, amendments, nutes, etc. will be available off the shelf from big box stores. May be beneficial to someone just starting in an outlaw state, or no grow shop nearby. The closest thing I have to a bag seed are some open pollination skunk seeds, that are untested and of unknown origin. I am approaching this from the perspective of, “if I were a new grower with limited resources and unknown genetics, what could I expect.”
Grower: Graham Bagg
Strain: unknown skunk origin
Medium: “organic” amended soil, consisting of peat, manure, humus, potting mix, perlite, earthworm castings, lava rock and AP fertilizer by Dr Earth, Tomato and Herb fertilizer by Jones, and Chick n Poo fertilizer. All labeled organic, but not necessarily OMRI listed. Ingredients were mixed together over the winter, placed inside a black garbage bag, that was then placed inside a metal garden shed that sits in the sun all day.
Seeds were soaked in 1%(ish) solution of hydrogen peroxide, at midnight on August 5, and transferred to a moistened coffee filter around 7am the same day. Will transplant to soil once tap roots emerge.
Full disclosure:
These may or may not be regular seeds, depending on what they got pollinated by. Space constraints will not allow for me to keep males, so I planted 3, in hopes of getting at least 1 female. I will pick a plant as my entry once I put in soil. If it turns out male, it will get culled and I will disqualify myself, but still continue posting pics of the female(s).
@Mikedin if possible, can I get added to group 1? Fridays would be harder for my schedule, posting wise.
