Have you looked into the the injections? My aunt has stuff on hand for “really bad migraines”. Glad at least cannabis is helping you!

Did you use that brown garden twine? If so really watch that shit! It gets brittle and weak and will break without notice. When I use it I triple and quadruple wrap with it! I use it in my veggie gardens (when im doing one) and have had that stuff break with single strand run (bean pole) and (bean trellising)

I've tried the self injections - didn't really help. Now getting Botox injections every 3 months. 30+ shots to my skull at a time. Not pleasant, but does help a bit. Just doesn't seem consistent though.

Damn dude that sucks! I cant blame you on not doing the shots. If it’s not working or spotty what’s the point? Agreed.

Absolutely! I have had that shit fail and just wanted to make sure you were aware of the potential : ) would hate to see it and not say anything and then come back here to see a post by saying your plant fell over and snapped!😳 yeah get those real supports and netting up! : ) at least the supports, then you can start wrapping as needed. And if a storm rolls through you’re not scrambling 👍

When I checked on the 4 Kingdoms, I noticed a lot of leaves w. issues. Any ideas what’s going on here? What should I feed them? At this point, I’ve only been watering and adding GeoFlora Veg (or Bloom) every couple weeks.

Trimmed off all the problem leaves from the 4 Kingdoms, CBD Critical Mass and its clone. Added a couple more ties to the tomato cage to make sure it holds upright. Trying to figure out how to place the 8” support posts / netting. The tree is really in the way. Might have to cut off some tree branches to make room for the posts…

More rain.

Lots more leaves have turned yellow. Fed them GeoFlora Bloom and watered them. Hopefully, the leaves will improve again.

Should I prune off all the yellow leaves? I cut them off five days ago, but lots more now.

Rainy again today, but not anything like last night. Checked on the plants – still yellow leaves, but no storm damage! MUST set up the stakes / netting for support. Need to cut tree branches and bring out a small ladder to do this properly…

More rain yet again. Really hope this weather doesn’t lead to bud rot like last year. Hell, I started nearly 1.5 months earlier this year than last year to try to avoid those issues!

Rain and More rain. Leaves still look bad. Fed them some GeoFlora Veg to give them some Nitrogen. Really hope this helps them out!!

More rain. Tried to shake excess water off the branches once the rains stopped. Looks to me like the 4 Kingdoms plant is nowhere as thick / bushy as it was a couple weeks ago. Think its lost a LOT of leaves! Not good…

Finally a sunny day. Set up the support stakes and netting.

Found batches of mushrooms growing at the base of both plants. Removed the shrooms. Very surprised to see them grow so quickly. Will the shrooms cause issues / problems for the plants?

Rain again and looks like it’s supposed to rain the next couple days. Guess we’re getting remnants of the monstrous hurricane? Hopefully, no insane winds as well as the rain!

These are the products I have. Which should I be adding at this point to help these plants cross the Finish line?

More rain. Looks like the 4 Kingdoms is about 8-9 foot tall. I am beyond shocked!! But despite how tall they are, I'm pretty sure the buds aren't anywhere close to as big as the Granddaddy Purple and THC Bomb plants were last year in their 7-gallon grow pots. Hopefully, they'll fatten up before harvest.

10/3/24 (Part 1)
Today is the first sunny day since 9/28. Checked on the buds and I’m pretty sure I have some bud rot going on here. Am I correct? If so, I’ll cut the diseased areas out immediately and start praying that it doesn't spread...

10/3/24 (Part 2)
When I went to check again, I saw a LOT more bud rot than I initially thought. Cut off a lot of buds. Far more than I wanted to cut, but lots of bud rot. Hit predominantly on the 4 Kingdoms plant. Just lost…maybe 20% of a possible harvest? Maybe more? Just hoping I don’t lose any more!! Forecast calls for very little rain during the next month, so I’m hoping to bring this to Harvest.

Took some pics of the trichomes w. the digital microscope. I’m seeing clear, cloudy AND amber-colored trichomes! Looks like they need at least another couple weeks before I can harvest.

Unfortunately, it was nearly dark before I finished work, so didn’t get much time to check the Photos out. But I think there’s more Bud Rot. Will have to get to them during the day tomorrow and see what the story is!

Beautiful day. Unfortunately, the Bud Rot devastation continues. Cut off a lot more buds that were destroyed. At this point, I’m thinking I’m going to harvest on Friday regardless of if the trichomes are the way I want them. Afraid that I’ll lose even more. Basically, harvesting something will be better than harvesting nothing…

Not sure what I could have done differently w. these outside Photo Fems to prevent the rot. Especially with the weather in VA. This is two years in a row that my plants looked pretty solid and then the rainy/cool weather arrived and suddenly they’re hit w. Bud Rot.

Maybe it’s time to try as many Auto Fems as possible, or some faster Photo Fems.

Chopped the 4 Kingdoms down and checked for more Bud Rot. Unfortunately, found a lot more. Think I’ve lost at least 50% of the 4 Kingdoms to Bud Rot. So many large buds were just totally destroyed. Drives me crazy to lose so much of the Harvest to this disease.

Did a bud wash. Three 5 gallon buckets of water with:
1. Hydrogen Peroxide
2. Lemon Juice & Baking Soda
3. Plain water.

Hung the bud stems to dry in the garage with a strong fan on them. Will start a proper dry for the 4 Kingdoms in a grow tent tomorrow. Will then repeat the entire process with the CBD Critical Mass tomorrow. The Critical Mass smells quite amazing! A light lemony scent.

Brought the 4Kingdoms into the grow tent to dry. Much crisper than expected after they were hanging in garage w. fan on them. Trimmed off the fan leaves. There was a hay smell that will hopefully dissipate in a day or two.

Chopped the CBD Critical Mass. Didn’t see any more Bud Rot. This plant is very spindly compared to every other pot plant I’ve grown so far. Buds are much smaller than the others as well. I’ll see what I can get from her, but so far, it seems like a huge disappointment. BUT, it really does smell great! Did a bud wash of the Critical Mass and then hung them to dry in the garage. This time, I didn’t put the fan directly on them.

Brought the CBD Critical Mass into the grow tent to dry. Trimmed off the fan leaves. Need to get RH higher than the 56% it’s currently at.

10/17/24
Pretty sure I can start the trimming tonight or tomorrow.

10/19/24
Started trimming the 4 Kingdoms. Have 3 hangers of it before I get to the 2 hangers for the CBD Critical Mass.

10/20/24
Spent Hours in Trim Jail. Kinda wondering if this is a waste of time. So many of the buds are the smaller ones after losing all the big buds to bud rot. But will have to go thru the trimming and curing and then see how it smokes…

10/21/24 & 10/22/24
Still in Trim Jail. Finally finishing off the 4 Kingdoms harvest. Have five mason jars filled so far. Still have two hangers full of the CBD Critical Mass to trim and no idea when I’ll get a chance to do it!!

11/30/24
FINALLY finished off trimming all of the CBD Critical Mass. Filled two mason jars today. No idea if it will be any good except for either tinctures or edibles, but will give it a shot. Amazing how migraines, holidays, family visits, etc can derail time in trim jail. Also, SO many of the buds that didn’t get hit w. but rot were quite small, so took forever to trim them. As I’ve written before, wonder if the CBD Critical Mass trim is just a waste of time…

Now, I just have to clean out my grow tent, dismantle it, move it to the basement furnace room and re-start everything so I can have a winter grow. Will pick a couple of Autoflowers to grow.
