On I-5 between Gold Hill and Central Point Oregon very visible to passersby. It used to be that you had to have fences to hide from public view. Things have gotten more lax.

You may have noticed my yard light behind the plants. I have always left it on until the Summer Solstice. I had some clones start to flower a couple of weeks after planting. We leave our plants with 24 light til putting them out. I have only been showing one of our gardens because it’s closer. So, I will have to take some over there soon.

Morning frebo yep i'm a early riser. Hey how do you cope with catipillars? As glad as i am about the rain we're getting i'd like some days of sun also long days at that LOL how are you dealing with it? Yep i sure love fall here ground smells great with the rain all the fires out your way hopefully getting knocked down. last week i had ash covering my car and on plants not much but worried me thought i had spider mites lol but i realized it was ash thank goodness.

Frebo Jr. has relied on Neem Seed Meal on the soil around the plants this year. In the past, we have used a spray with Organicide, nothing stronger and nothing this late in the season. We do get bud worms at harvest but we just throw those buds away. We always have more than we can use. When we do harvest we take some tops early And follow a couple weeks later. We have a friend who “Gleans” the rest and leaves the garden clean. The days of selling weed are gone unless you have gotten a grow license through the Oregon Liquor Control Commission which needs a new name.

Autumn is here. Junior just fertilized for the last time. Weather forecast is pretty good for the next couple weeks. Rain is okay but not if they can’t dry out. Mold and bud worms happen fast if damp. Happy growing. Ha! I’ll have to work at harvest.

Morning fella what great fall temps were getting and no rain. I'm taking down my plants have to cause of the catipillars they are at the peak of ripeness. These cold overnight temps sure do bring on the fade and plumping. I'm glad i've only got 4 to deal with i hand trim all by myself. I bet some of yours are just about ready by the looks of them. I hope harvest goes quickly for you😊

I finally got down to the lower garden. Junior admitted he didn’t take the same care of the lower garden he did for the upper garden. The soil had sat for four or five years with no water or vegetation. We added some new soil but not enough. The buds are not as developed as the other garden but still look promising. There’s a Blue Dream, a GMO, White Runtz, Diamond Runtz and Gary Peyton.
I'm in Willamette valley. What a great growing space! Curious - no deer troubles?

We have few deer. Junior has been feeding them apples and some alfalfa. They don’t jump over the 8 foot fence and when they did get in they only ate the grass around the plants.

Pretty good, looking buck! It’s that time of year! He would probably be dead if he was in my place! I could use some venison!
