Frebo cant stop growing living in the woods

I posted last growing season that I was retiring from growing. 1968-2023. This year our future plans were changed and our son has had to join us on the farm and has a medical growing card for the State of Oregon which is operated by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission. Under new rules my son may grow up to 12 plants at a time or per outdoor season. My son, Frebo Junior, in in charge this year. So far he is doing great. The plants are all a beautiful color of green. Very healthy looking.
Frebo Jr. has planted the following;

Garden 1

Carbon fibre

Sherbert

Diamond Runtz 2

Gary Peyton 2

The Great Wall

Garden 2

White Runtz

Gary Peyton

Blue Dream

GMO

Diamond Runtz

I grew a little Indian Corn last year and apparently some kernels stayed in the garden. Around here we say “Knee high by 4th of July” or forget it. The corn is about to be taller than my Diamond Runtz. Frebo Jr. added another level of netting today.

Frebo Jr. is doing fine. The extreme heat dried a few top
leaves and we have some ears of Indian corn forming.

Excellent looking garden yes the heat really took a toll on everyone. I'm enjoying the much cooler mornings hope you are and the plants do seem to be recovering well. Your son is doing great, good teacher😉 I got a alert on my phone yesterday afternoon level 3 evacuation near Canyonville fire. I've not looked at where exactley, hopefully far from where the casino is. Best of luck moving forward with flowering.

The Dixon Fire is near Tiller. Search google for current status. I have friends in shady Cove and Trail and that’s near Hwy. 227 that goes through Tiller to Canyonville. I’ve had fire less than a mile from my place in the past. I love living in the woods but it has had its moments.

@frebo Yes i know where that is and it was human caused. I lived up the North Umpqua in Glide for over 30+years had a home on the river. Was used to living in the smoke the last 10yrs have been awful. Never was it this bad in the 70-80s. I had to sell and move 3yrs ago couldn't take care of the place anymore by myself. Kids all left, can't blame them. Nothing going on. I live in town now. Oh how i miss the wildlife.
