Thanks for the well wishes. Lightning without enough rain is too scary, too many chances of more fires. 🙁

I checked the trics and they need a couple more weeks yet. I just don't know why some of the fan leaves are yellowing so badly. My basil in pots were getting yellow so I broke down and gave them liquid Miracle grow and they greened up within a week. But I know better that and just gave them a little MegaCrop.
I have another 7 on the patio that are 2 weeks later and haven't yellowed yet. Trying to avoid that.

You have 2 groups with one being okay with what's happening and a smaller group turning yellow. Once they go yellow they're not going green again. You'll have some bud though.

The ones that are still green are mostly Granddaddy Purple. The yellow ones are from Humboldt and are different varieties. They must need more nitrogen than the others. But, I know, too late.

Found another male, so sad, it's the Turkish in the dirt. But, ya know, he was the tallest. So...
I didn't have my loppers with me so I cut off the branches instead.

Turkish

Just had a storm front come through with high winds. I'll try not to think about the extras.
I had high winds last night too. Just about lost one of the Mangos from Outer Space but the 2 bamboo poles kept the plant upright. I had to reorient one pole so she couldn't fall over and this morning she's looking okay. Time will tell.

Early August used to be when we got tornados and wild weather here. It went to late August and now it's here late July. Time to tie down what we can.

All the best Cpur.

All the best to you too! That's great you were able to save her from falling. How tall are yours now? And aren't they sheltered by the building?
The male Turkish's branches and stalks were almost too brittle to withstand much wind, don't think he could of survived until late September without alot of help.

Now I'm worried about my autos. They only have a couple weeks left and all this humidity and rain is mold city. Guess I'll just have to keep a close eye on them.

cpurola don't you have a greenhouse? I will put mine into my hippie greenhouse with all the flaps and doors open when i have too. Even if i needed a fan i could put that in there and run a 50fl cord to plug it into. Crap my photos are no where nearing flowering and the seedling autos i know will finish either in the greenhouse or my patio. Maybe even some of the photos. Mine are growing slooooowly compaired to other years. Perhaps these strains i'm growing are not suited well for outdoor?

I DO have a greenhouse but with everything open it gets up to and beyond 100 degrees. Not good.

Just got back in from checking out the photos in the back and can't believe nothing broke during the storm yesterday. Yay!
But on a more somber note the Autos definately have bud rot. 🙁
I haven't been checking and should have. Man, this growing outdoors is getting harder and harder. I need to spray everything but just walking outside, I start sweating. Isn't this supposed to be fun? LOL

The plants on the right are the UBC Chemo/ Romulans and are 7-8 ft. tall. The farthest right hasn't a hint of bloom yet and is the skunky one. Second from the right is less skunk but starting to bloom. Far left is Nepal that doesn't have a hint of bloom and takes lots of months to bloom so it's just an ornamental, 9-10 ft range. There are 2 Mangos from Space beside the Nepal which are 8-9 ft for one plant, 4 ft for the second. The 4 foot has a little auto in her and is flowering up nicely.

Keeping an eye on them is always a good idea :-).

that bud rot cut it out and spray that area with a 50/50–99% isopropyl/water mix,. a few times for a couple days,.

I get confused! Is that Lebanese flowering out in the garden with the cola? It must be! Way to go! You go, girl! If that is a Lebanese in the supported with 4 foot stakes, I just fell in love!😂
Yep, I looked up the description and it says it starts blooming in July. Here's the link:

Oh, and the Real Seed Co.

Yeah, I know all about that! Just savor the journey with that plant! It’s kind of unique! You may not get another chance! Will you ask her if she will marry me?😂🍻 and I will bet Nick is foaming at the mouth about now! Trying to figure out how he can get his hands on those colas!✌️

It is great to have plants doing so well knowing I've got very little to do with them. They have been fed less than a half dozen times, watered a little more but not much. There haven't been bugs or diseases to deal with.

I'll tie the plants up and support them a little more soon. Other than that I hope they start flowering. The season is moving along. Nice bud off a small plant is nicer than the monster that didn't. Now, the monster that flowers ... 🤩

The children will be worthy of an Adams Family sequel. 🤣
