OK, I get it! Hope it works for you! I would have just transplanted the plant into the bigger pot! And it sure as hell wouldn’t be a plastic pot! Time for my nap! Getting crotchety! Nothing ventured, nothing gained!😁✌️ fear not, the transplant!

And keep that old shit, kicking cowboy involved! You’ll make a dope grower out of him yet! Cowboys have a lot of common sense! That’s half the battle!😍

LMAO I hear ya. I was afraid I'd shock her too much if I replanted the whole thing. Clay pots down here will bake any plant in it. Plus I got plastic ones on sale... But I do prefer clay, all my clay pots are in the shade (succulents).
You've earned your Crotchety-ness 👍
I've been tired all week.. My oldest turned 54 this week. A nap sounds great!! Lol

Yes Sir!!! He's a man's man! Lots of broken bones from his young cowboy days ;)
He's kinda proud of his ole' lady growing. One of the workers asked him "does your wife smoke"? He said "Well she's growing it" .. LoL I trade weed with his people. Lol

Stick with light colored fabric pots! For the final pot till the finish line! The only thing a plastic pot is good for in my opinion is transplanting out of! They are great for starts and up pots! 😁 enjoy your nap, sister! Is the dog days of summer!😍

Yeah, you have to be careful with those grow dots. First time I tried to grow again after decades without, the guy who sold me seeds recommended grow dots. I stupidly applied them to the soil, and the little seedling immediately withered and died. That was before I learned that you absolutely shouldn't put any fertilizer on young plants. So...moral of the story: be careful with those dots! As Chucky says, if you use them, it's one and done. They'll last the season as they dissolve. Don't overdo them.
Thats right, can't fertilize any seedlings. I had to use grow dots this time. Wanted to see the difference from using the fox farm regime last year. Had left over bloom booster & used it this yr on tomatoes.;)
I was watching lots of dude grows shows & thought I'd try dots & recharge this time.
Dude gave good tips on their stuff.
Do you think the dots will all be used up in the soil, By the time of harvest.. So I can reuse the soil next yr.. w/o being worried there's too much nutrients left in it? (sorry bad grammar) Lol

I think you’ll be OK with it! Especially since you’re talking about tripling or quadrupling the amount of soil you’re gonna be using!😈 I think those grow dots sound like a good idea! I might try a pot or two if there is a next year! Might be a little on the expensive side in my application! I’m pretty low budget! Don’t know how many it takes for 35 gallons!✌️

Lol! Well I needed to heat up left overs so no nap meanwhile...50 yr old came in to tell me about her day. Haha
Where do you all get those fabric pots? The ones I've looked at were pricey. 👀They last more than 1 grow tho, right?

The ones I am using are on their fifth tour of duty and beginning to show the wear and tear! I think I got them down at the grow shop! And they weren’t too bad! Depends on how big they are! I popped for one smart pot brand which are more expensive but I think they are better overall! The others are adequate! In your climate, you don’t wanna be messing around with plastic!

Seriously if you try the dots I'd be so interested in your opinion. Oh yes dots are 1 T per gal... It would get expensive. I'm low budget also lol. So it was a splurge this year. But I wasn't expecting huge plants. I grow midgets haha 🤦

Okay I will CK them out, thanks! Gonna ask at the grow shop here tomorrow.
(Is it canvas fabric?? I could sew some up..hummm ) Your inspiring me lol
I've had clay pots crack when we've had harsh winters. Even ones that were glazed.

No, they’re not canvas or denim! And the quality is all over the place nowadays! I bought some little 2 gallons for starts that were nothing but junk! Luckily, I only needed four! You need decent breathability in the material! The junk ones really inhibited the dry backs! It was a cheap lesson! You kind of need something that is going to wick the water right on through! But it’s not like you get a chance to try them!

Speaking of which I just appropriated some right from this thread!

Don't know if this can still help but I figure it can't hurt.
I don’t know which side to go on because I just joined this site a couple weeks ago. I am just learning the grow system. I have one plant here that I am trying to get info on. My eyesight isn’t too good almost 70 years old. Can you possibly tell me if you see any pistols on this plant? It’s supposed to be an auto, but it’s almost 2 months old. We’re all my other autos were already harvested at two months old, but they didn’t grow bushy like this one. Here’s a picture or two if you can help me out and let me know if you see if it’s a photo plant or not .

I don’t see any! But I am 70! Goes to show you the importance of knowing what you are growing for sure! Has it even shown sex yet? Get a few more opinions! I don’t grow indoors!

I guess this site is only for professionals because all I do is ask you little questions and people get very rude. They tell me to start my own trend. What the F is that supposed to mean?
Simmer down! Lol! You start your own thread! It’s like a continuous diary of your grow! You contain all your information and questions within it! It’s much easier to help someone when all their information is in one place! It’s a lot harder when they are popping up at random all over the place! And some people don’t like people, jumping in to their threads all the time!😁✌️ it’s just etiquette to keep some degree of order in this nuthouse!

now now sometimes threads get missed or the people looking at them don’t know if they can help..
we’ll go to your thread and see if we can help out

I'm new also @Bozzin .. plus I'm old, I've got a 54 yr old kiddo. I'm still confused but trippin' along. I'm growing outdoors for 2nd yr now. At the home pg THC Farmer we're told to start your own Grow Diary .. once you do ppl will come help you out. I don't have a clue about what's involved growing inside. Good luck man! Your plants look great! My plants are growing since 4•26•25 so they're over 2 months LOL
