Looking really beautiful!

Those pink pistils on Rosella are gorgeous
Thanks Tumble
Lowest at night is 39f with high of 81f. Top percentage for rain is only 30 so I expect to be watering and plucking yellow leaves.

You have a decent crop coming in this year. YEEAAA ! Trim jail 😃.

I see that rain predicted on Monday next week. A little concerning. How close are yours to harvest?

I have a drought problem with little rain forecast but the temps are nice. I love autumn in the Arklatex. Hopefully we don't get a hurricane but we are in prime season now.

Mine will take at least a few weeks unless issues start popping up. A 30 percent chance of rain that's days out often gets replaced by a sunny day when it actually happens.

I'm getting put in trim jail with the 2 remaining for sure.

I got two monsters myself, and my neighbor has 4 in the 6-7' range that I know he'll want help with. So my sentence will be trim prison, till January at the least.😆

Update.
So, it's been 10 days and I'm not posting any more pics. For now.
Chopped a plant from Capt. Spaulding and, sorry Gray, Showgirl and put them on the burn pile. Too diseased.
Laughing Lion is getting some Septoria in it's lower buds, damn it. We just had 5 days of rainy, cloudy, cool weather and now it's clearing up and gonna be sunny for the next week. Still cool, and fog in the morning, but no rain.
We'll see how they do.
Chocolate Girl Guide was resistant to Septoria, and has large fluffy gorgous buds, but racked with Botrytis. I started cutting out the rot, but it was all in the upper 1/3 of the stems. Very little resistance there.

I've checked most of the flowers and they all have half and half clear, cloudy trics. Too soon for me to harvest. Beginning to hate this time of year.

Such is growing in your spot. Another poor year for you sister i think it's time to build a tall hoop house or a barn for growing. I know you enjoy it that's why you do it but will you get back anything for all the time and money you've put into these heartbreak grows, i hope you get at least 1/2 of your crop?

We'll see, the weather is a little different this year and the plants don't look quite as bad, yet, so I'm hoping to get something. Just wish they'd hurry the f up. LOL

Girl you need a tent and concentrate on some good indoor !!
Well, that may happen. Hubby has installed a heater/air-conditioner heat pump in the back garage so I may set one up out there. Only thing is, I'll have to be like @Grownsince95 and shovel snow to get to the garage this winter. LOL

Im sorry cpurola! Damn! : /
It's okay Bear, Damn and all those other words. Such is life. Hopefully I get another crack at it next year. And hubby has already hung lines anticipating a great harvest. (g)
It might happen, alot depends on the weather.

I've got my drying area all thought out, but haven't set it up. Cause I know what happens when u count chickens before they hatch. I know if I do... something bad will happen. It's my kinda luck.

So I have to ask....do u prefer to harvest at night or during the day.
What's preferred by most.?

Half the battle is in the optimism! Good on your hubby for getting the lines up for the dry!

I prefer to start early in the day and finish the next night ;-).

I’ve never thought about it. my larger garden experience if i remember correctly was more like a day time thing. chop and wet leaf and get stuff hung up by day. smoke and trim on some early stuff or last years leftovers by night! : ) hella fun! 🤩

i could see the need for night harvest though. folks that would cut and transport for dry and cure had their work and travel cut out for them.

I ask, because plants do their thing at night. Soak up energy thru the day, grow at night.

I usually chop my outdoor in the evening and bribe the wife with a couple bottles of wine to help and her best friend who doesn’t smoke LOOOVES to help trim and she gets out of work in the evening 😂😂 so we invite her over put the picnic table in the garage n have some drinks listen to some tunes maybe a couple 🍄🍄’s and have some fun with it !!

I have heard there is something to that : ) but I’ve never tested it out or noticed a difference in smoke from morning chops vs night time chops. Not saying there isnt either way though, it very well could have an effect on things. im thinking though, once that plant has created its thc content, thats what we’re going to get🤷‍♂️

With my old eyes I need as much light as I can get to see the bud rot and anything else that shouldn't be there.
So the sun is my best buddy when it comes down to harvest. A couple of years ago I set up a card table out back, next to the plants and did rough trim out there. Worked out great 'cause then I wasn't tracking sticky leaves into the house. LOL

Assuming it’s all ready at once, I start harvesting late morning. After I have slept in, ate a good breakfast, and the morning dew is dried. Then pretty much keep going until it’s inside.
