So i have a pineapple express that i am getting ready to grow. My plan is to sandpaper the seed then soak it in water for about 30 minutes our intell it starts opening. Then plaint it in soil and put it in the tent.
The last one i gave too many nutrients and locked it up so i will be down around 700ppm and probably wont let them get over 1500 ppms. I will need to get the lighting right and the humitity.
If anyone has any advice please let me know. The last plant was in shock for about 2 to 3 months

I prefer paper towel damp, in a ziplock in the dark on a warming pad. I usually have a great success rate. Ambient light till about 3" then into the tent. It works fer me. Hope it helps!!!

Do you have a favorite warming pad or is it kind of "any will do"? I wonder if quality is even a thing with such low tech.

Any heating pad would do on the lowest setting. I prefer 79°F.
I have a Vivo pad an I can control the temp. I used Pop's heating pad back in the 90's worked juss fine!

Oh on another 🎵 the only time I rub a seed with grit is if it's over 5yr old. Not vacuum sealed.

I had a bad patch on seeds where my germ rate went to like 0-4 and a bad pop for the 5th. It's better now lol I unfucked my own mistakes, but I have a gold star next to that subject for interest. My next seed goes in pretty soon, I've been observing a mutant a little too long and it's never going to be a good plant. Probs an auto.

I use Jiffy pellets in a dome on a heating pad My germination rate is in the 90 percent range.. almost 100% (almost).
Initially I was doing well in something like that that had soil and peat, I abandoned it to fuck around and it turned out to be unwise.
So many seeds paid for my hubris.
I tell you now this poetry:

Creche, predictable and in a sense was it boring?
As an uninvolved mind is not curious
and
to stretch;
but ego is a poison feed.
Turning from the light invites the cold of death into your house.
I must center, refocus, and ((((vibe)))).
This is how my song will go.
