hi can some of you guys help me decide which nutrients I should drop and if they're redundant? I'm seeing more nutrient lock out because i think I got too many fertilizers. these nutrients and recipe were given to me by a friend. i am running CO2 ppm 1400 ec 2.8. this is a fairly large basement grow. I think having both big bud and monster bloom is too much since their both pk boosters what do the rest of the stuff qualify as?

hygrozyme A+B
cal mag
big bud 0-15-35
grotek Monster bloom 0-5-30
ari growth plus organic 0-4-5
bonticare growth plus organic 1-4-5
grotek vitamax pro 1-1-1

Hygrozyme A+B - Base NPK with calmag and chelated minerals

Cal mag - you already have it in A+B, in the A part to be precise, get rid of it unless the plant is very big, then you might use extra.

Grotek monster bloom - PK with micro nutrients they dont wanna specify what a 20% of it is but it has sodium and sulfur so Im assuming its just for root development and terpenes which use sulfuric compounds, no idea what else could be in there but theres more, they dont say.

Ari growth plus organic - no idea, couldnt find anything on the internet either, you sure the brand is ari?

Botanicare growth plus organic - Balanced veg booster with a complete NPK so I wouldnt use at the same time than Hygrozyme, if you really wanna use them and dont wanna discard one, you can lower the doses. Also its meant for vegetative growth so Im not sure if its suitable for flower. NPK and minerals mostly, organic ammendments but no kelp.

Grotek vitamax pro - Kelp supplement. Vitamins, aminoacids, phytohormones... very useful to keep in the diet. The NPK is low and balanced to 1-1-1 so it shouldnt overfertilize if used at proper dosage.

Also botanicare growth plus organi contains bone meal, which means even more calcium into the mix. I dont know who helped you but he/she got a little bit too excited reading about products hahaha.

Oh forgot about big bud, I use it lol:
Big bud - NPK with ascorbic acid, citric acid (helps decompnse organic matter, regulates ph for a bit, plants use it at the start of flower mostly), aminoacids and milk serum protein hydrosolate. I always use it because I think its noticeable, but that doesnt mean it cant be replazable, I would keep it over grotek monster bloom or alternate because both have good things for the plants.
Theyre not all organic and sometimes is not okay to mix them but theyre made of the same organic and bio-mineral compounds so you should be able to addapt them without problems, even though thats just the theory. Any grower that is not going 100% organic will tell you to stick to one line and follow the chart and thats way easier and wont bring you problems.

If I were to guess you have too much calcium in the soil and too much PK in the leaves, are they burnt from the tips to the edges? If you post pics we can also see what the problem is, or try to at least.

thank you for your detailed reply! I really appreciated it
sorry it's Agri-Growth growth plus. and sorry the bonticare was pure blend pro bloom
im growing in peat moss about a quarter of my plants started looking like this and I went down a rabbit hole lol. I'm thinking I got so much stuff it's locking out mg.

I can see the brown tips on the leaves below too, maybe a bit too hot on nutrients caused a mag lockout. Most def something to do with the nutes. Were they more green before? Also they dont look nearly as bad as I thought they would, thats not a lot of damage but yes its not nice when they lose their green.

Did you use any flushing agent or just phed water? Also what soil? Did you have microorganisms? What PH you used for watering? Maybe its just symptoms from before the flush, that looks like nute burn 101 but could be a problem with the PH.

just ph water. it's promix HP which is peat moss. after seeing the bright green leaves I did a run off test and it was 5.5, and that's when I did the phd water to get it up again. when I feed and water my ph range is 6.2-6.5. those pictures are week 4 of flower. everything was green up to week 2 of flowering. around week three I notice the plants starting to get lime green which is when I actually start adding monster bud + big bud + growth plus in week3, definitely has to be a correlation.

in your personal opinion let's just say everything is on point with ph and ec you would drop monster , pure blend pro?

I mean yes, if youre using 2 pks at full dose youre gonna get toxicity for sure. On top of that botanicare has a fair ammount of PK too so more like 3 🤣 alternate in between big bud and monster bud or use just one. As for the botanicare PK you could use it at low strenght, is a top dressing right? I do top dressing and liquid nutes, you just need to find the balance.

lmao it could be 4 since I got growth plus lol. thanks for the reply and suggestion , ya it's not really at full dose my res is 55 gallon. I use a table spoon of monster and big bud each which I think might be even less then the recommended dosage? as far as the botnicare it's about 200ml

the total ppm of this concoction is 1400. I am however running CO2

Running CO2 is a waste of money in my opinion. You have way more and way more important parameters to take care of. They dont use barely any CO2 compared to oxygen, like maybe 1% to say something. It sure can help but minimally and only if you have all other parameters in optimal conditions all the time. The ppm doesnt seem high, its just the desproportion of NPK I guess, many times nutes block each other when theyre in excess in the soil too.

thanks man!

So yes, toxicity can lead to deficiencies too, thats why sometimes is hard to diagnose a plant when people come to the forum and its looking very rough, its like well... where do I start hahaha usually involves a bunch of questions and guessing.
