Are "hash" plants different from every other sativa/indica breed, or is it just a name that has been given to some hybrid??

A hash plant is a heavy resin producer. Doesn't guarantee more potency, just usually more resin. There are "hash plant" strains either in name or in category and they should presumed to be more resinous than typical cannabis plants with probably some Afghan origin in the genetics.

So in working towards the production of RSO/FECO, would it be best to focus on growing "Hash" plants?? Isn't it the resin/trichs that we're extracting in that process?

Yes, you want more resinous plants for stuff like rosin pressing and bubble hash. Again, more resin doesn't automatically mean more potency though. It's just more ideal for making extracts.

Having grown a few, hash plants, outdoors, I haven’t seen a damn bit of difference in the frost! I think it’s just another marketing ploy! Just my opinion on it! And as usual, just another two cents!✌️

Frost can be misleading. It comes with trichome density but you can have fewer trichomes holding more resin. If you were pressing or washing I presume you'll find you typically get a bit more grams per ounce with a hash strain. Might be even less ideal if you're just smoking it.

Yeah, maybe! My experience with hash plant is pretty limited! I’m just not seeing much difference!👍 visually, washing, and pressing! I’ve only grown a couple of golden sands, hash plants from HSC!

I am usually wrong about everything. There’s a old audio or video and beating the harvest with pollen in hash production from the past.
