Than you for clearing that out. Now i understand better why they wrote so much about ppm and converting on the shops website. That was actually what confused me so much, so thank you.
So if i understand correct i can use my ppm meter and then convert, that'll be the same as using EC meter?

@trygrowup:Correctamundo, Richie! PPM pens (as opposed to EC) are kind of stupid, there are some folks who follow the Hanna Scale (700 conversion method). If you can see it as EC, you can decide which math you want to use for conversion because EC is the true value and ppm is how you are interpreting it.
Do you know what KISS means? Thanks for clarifying @PlumberSoCal2.
I'll give soil one more year, then consider.
Anyway i went with thinking it was a combo of over/under watering and over/under feeding and gave it some water at 550 ppm. I don't really know what that means in terms of strength but i made some tea and diluted it because it was like 1500 ppm so i will se if it works
Also it had drank the water in bottom tray that was why i went with that. But i'll remember what you said thanks
Do you know what KISS means?.....Green Leaf nutes are the way to go. Its like plug n play....
Veg:
Mega Crop 1 part. 5mg per gallon
Cal mag. 2mg p/g
Flower:
Mega Crop 1 part. 2.5 mg p/g
Sweet Candy. 2.5 mg p/g
Sea Kelp. 1 mg p/g
Bud Explosion. 1 mg p/g
This combo has done me great....never a problem.
I think you meant grams g p/g, not mg p/gDo you know what KISS means?.....Green Leaf nutes are the way to go. Its like plug n play....

Again I messed it up....delete the mg and replace with gram.....mg would be 2 grains...Do you know what KISS means?.....Green Leaf nutes are the way to go. Its like plug n play....

Simplest is best. Like I mentioned. The Greenleaf nutes give you the opportunity to tweek your mix....just mentioned what I use. I did use FF.....had issues with nutrient burns in different strains. Not the problem with Greenleaf.Ha ha @Crazyformes yes I know about KISS and thanks for sharing, but correct me if i'm wrong.
I see treads every day with people following a simple scheme having problems getting it right. Thats true isn't it?
Also I'm not a fan of schemes. It's so boring for me. I use them now and then but more like a point in the right direction.
I do get that advice often but i'm always like nah.
When i get my own nutes dialed in i will hopefully end up with knowledge i can translate into real life. Makes me more flexible. I can't do that following a scheme.
I can already see myself telling nice single women " I think your rhododendron needs nitrate"
But thats just how i prioritize.
Oh that reminds of one day at work.
I was out removing some weed in a garden and i saw this naked woman sunbathing in the gadren.
I was so impressed that i couldn't help myself saying. "What beautiful clitoris you have there mam"
She answered. "I don't know anything about that. It my husband that takes care of the plants"
Lilly 714's....back in the day.You had them 714 gorilla biscuits on your mind....![]()

Ok then i go with the ppm pen meter because i have one already.@trygrowup:
My Blue Lab pen reads in three formats: EC, ppm on the 500 scale, and ppm on the 700 scale. I learned using ppm on the 500 scale, so that’s what I prefer to use. It’s helpful to think of these as different languages describing the same thing.
The pen measures Electrical Conductivity (EC), which is the native measurement. PPM is simply EC converted using a multiplier. EC is the actual measurement. ppm is just EC multiplied by either 500 or 700 depending on scale. Same soup, different spoon. e.g. 500 x 1.8= 900ppm or 700 x 1.8 = 1260ppm
I prefer speaking in parts per million, while Ninja prefers speaking in EC, but we’re both describing the same nutrient strength—just using different terms. It’s like saying ta-may-toe versus ta-mah-toe, or Celsius versus Fahrenheit. The important thing is that everyone knows which scale is being used. EC is universal and unambiguous. When someone says ppm, most people assume the 500 scale unless otherwise specified, (500 scale = USA, 700 Scale = some EU), but it’s always best to clarify.![]()
