Has anyone tried this? I'm just wondering if it works, it says it tricks the plant into thinking temps have dropped and its end of its cycle, so brings out all the deep colour hues of each strain without changing environment, while ripening the flowers too. I'm using Massive at the moment just wondered whether a dose of this at the end will help.

I'm not crazy about bottled nutrients, but the science that goes into New Millennium is solid.

Thanks, I'm just starting to learn about dry nutes but can't find a pre mix in the UK. I'm a bit wary about mixing my own for now but once I've learned enough I'll invest in a long term plan for mixing my own up from scratch, there's just a lot of late night reading involved haha. I sort of cheat now using kelp cold press and natural pH buffers, fish shit, molassas etc but really want to ditch the liquid base nutes. I'm using canna coco 2 part but would love a good alternative if you have any links or info I'd be grateful. Thanks again for the reply

Id rather the temps do it naturally.save your money..
So would I haha, late high UK temps are making it hard to keep it under 30c and I'm running from 3pm/6pm till 9am/6am respectively for the 2 different tents (veg and flower) I get drops down to 17cish over night but I'm still not hitting low enough. Next time around I'm going for cool tubes which should really help, plus autumn is here now so temps will drop fir me then.

Do you run your fan overnight..ive grown outdoors all my life and where i grow the gals one gets a cool breeze and that made it purple up .others right beside never got it.they purple more on leaves than bud.it doesnt bring out the terpenes ..that should already b there when buds start..it gets down to 5-6 deg over nite from around 20 deg so a huge drop in temps.not quite at the end here but the buds purpled slightly..

I hadn't run them 9ver night just to try nd keep humidity at a decent level as it was really low due to the heat and exhaust/intake running higher to keep up with the heat, now that it's finally lowering I can start soon. Its more for the summer months as its getting well over the 30s here regularly now so wanted something to fall back on and to help finish this grow off, as for the terps, they're fine nice nd smelly

I know I'm a little late on this post but I'm using winter frost for the first time and the difference between using just natural cold weather and pushing into sennesance with WF is that it DOES purple the bud and not just leaves. I used it on my hella jelly that usually stays really green all the way through and it purpled the crap out of it swelled the bud by a out 15 to 20% and has my whole place smelling like ripe fruit.. so no I don't think you can get that from natural cold weather without causing some really bad funk.

Let's see what y got, did you use clones or different plants to test WF?
I used clones different strains that I already have grown. I am lazy and not into making different batches of nutes lol. Overall I am happy, but not purchasing again. I will be making my own as the main ingredients in this are below. All of which I have already. They do not show everything which is suspect. I'll put up some pics at the end. ☮️
Key Active Ingredients & Composition:
  • Total Nitrogen (N): 0.2% (Nitrate Nitrogen)
  • Available Phosphate 2.2%
  • Soluble Potash 2.3%

Thanks for the reply, that's what I already thought 😓
It"s not worth it, no matter what the special ingredients are..they don't bring out that much color..sadly. My purpinator is nothing else, also mostly potash.

What was in your snake oil that brings out more color?
Cold climate is the best and I guess outdoor, but can't do that unfortunately and we also don't use air conditioners here..so I gotta live with what I get.

So instigate a lockout by burying the plant in p and k to kick off color change.

Besides all the amendments, I have separate bags of N,P, & K and add my own depending on how they are reacting. A lot of regular additives, like Worm castings, fish ferts, kelp, Recharge, mycorrhizae, and trichoderma...on and on epsom salt. Probably forgetting some as I do large batches of premixed nutes.
