No. Those places only count in the winter, lol😀
I think that was his point. Which I know of and have seen many vids of these old Perkins 3.152’s cranking, firing and running at 25 degrees F with nothing else needed other than a well charged battery. Not saying they all will but a well maintained one should.

Well, I don’t know if their tractors are any good but it sounds like their batteries sure are! Lol!
The second battery I bought from Menards and put it in the paper bag for 15% off sale. So last January I bought another battery for it from Menards. Also had the 15% bag sale going again 13 years later…

My neighbor had the L345 4wd lasted for decades.

Finally bit the big one and he bought a new 3036EN blew hoses, hydros leaked, and it was in the shop more than out to get it right.

Power washed the tractor, Changed the oil and filter, topped off the front axle, rear hydraulic and middle hydraulic fluids, and radiator. Wasn’t hydro locked (phew), fired right up and seemed to run great. The fuel was at 1/2 tank on the gage. So didn’t loose much. Also aired up the front tires. Haven’t checked them in awhile. Resting happily now back in the barn.
A few new scrapes, but I don’t see anything broken.

Sitting in the sun. However the wind is making it miserable…

I can stand the cold when it's sunny and no wind. But you get that wind chill on breezy days here makes 50f feel like 20f. I just can't stand cold windy days. We'd go to the coast with the kids in my 30's no problem put a beenie on my head and a light jacket not now though gawwwd it's awful LOL

Does Canada, Vermont, Pa. apply? Go to the yesterdays tractors forums on the old MF/Perkins forums and tell them that if they bring their MF235/245 down to Ohio they need that to start them. Let me know what they say😂.
I know a farmer here, who has probably the largest collection of MF, Farmall, tractors. He still has ones he's bought sitting in Canada, that need restoration. Gas will start anytime. I grew up with a Alice Chalmers WD-45 trike front end. With all the bells n whistles. It was a hand crank starter too, but grandpa upgraded it to electric start.😉
