I think 10 gal be way to long veg maybe I should go with 2 five gallon in there ....thoughts
Depends on your style of grow, if your bottle feeding 3 to 5 gallon, using organic soil (dry amendments), at least 15g.

down to earth and Dr earth dry my tents only five feet high
Oh yeah.. 5 feet.. changes things. have to for sure keep that plant small. Probably 5 gallons. Keep the soil happy with once a week zap of some Recharge or just mix 1/3 of (some good) earth worm castings into the pots (don't use what they sell at Home Depot). That's about 1.5 gallons of earth worm castings per pot. That alone would carry you to flower easy. Then you'd top dress again on the flip and again on about week 4-5 of flower for the finish. Easy.

I've got 2 fem photos going in a 2x4x5 in 7 gallon pots using BAS. I'm using the scrog method to keep them in check. I like having a big pot so they get plenty of space for the roots to grow and live up to their potential, and watering a little less often. Here are some pics of my last grow. The final picture is 2 weeks into stretch and the plants are only 15-18 inches tall. That makes for a real nice fit. In the past I've had grows get too tall in there so I'm keeping with scrog. Not sure how Fast Buds would do in scrog but there you go.

@Mickeyd4286, hope I didn't bomb your thread. I wanted to share options within the 5ft limit. I realize you probably have your own plan in mind. It's tough since our plants can only get about 24" tall before they get close to the light.
One more thing that might be helpful if you haven't done it already is to take the inline fan and filter outside the tent. That should give another 6" or so of headspace inside. Here is my setup. I made a felt filter bag to cover the inside of the vent. It turns green during a grow so I think it's working. To clean soak in alcohol for a couple minutes and then throw in with the laundry. And yes, I cut a whole right through the tent wall because I want my vent to be at the top in the back and not have to bend the vent pipe, to keep a straight run. Light leaks haven't been an issue. Why don't tents come like that?

Then I set the charcoal filter on a table, the inline fan above, blowing into the filter.
Vent 5 29 26 2
Vent 5 29 26 3

So now I can raise the light fixture to the top of the tent for more grow space. This Ionframe light I just got has the option to remove the driver and keep it outside the tent but I want that heat inside so I just need to keep it a few inches from the top.

I did mine up like this as well (4x2), need as much space as you can in these small tents, and nice clean setup there, Me Likey.

Looks like they fit comfy in there. It takes me about an hour to thoroughly water my 7 gallon pots on watering days. What's it like for 10 gallon pots?

I gave them a cup of water with down to earth 1-2-1 flower girl they got it cause I was adding to the two in other tent .how often do you water ?

I grow in a peat based soil mix. If your growing in something else the following may not pertain to your style.
When my plants were small I still watered the whole pot all the way to the bottom on the day that I watered. Mycorrhizae can't live without moisture and I want them to flourish and be ready to serve when the plant roots need it. So I watered about once a week. That gives her the ability to send that tap root down to the bottom of the pot. If it was dry down there she wouldn't be happy. When plants get bigger and the root network fills in the space it gets down to every 5 days. Now with her canopy pretty full it's every three days. I water in the morning. I get the top just wet. Wait 10 minutes, then spread about 4 cups and let that soak in for 10 minutes. I keep doing that until some water starts to escape the bottom. Takes about an hour and uses about 1-1/2 gallons per 7 gallon pot. A couple times I had grows that didn't do great and even though I thought I was watering good, when I pulled the roots out of the pot after harvest I saw that the bottom layer of soil was dry as a bone. Now I make little upside down "V" cuts an inch from the bottom of the pot so I can stick my finger in there and know for sure what's going on.
When I prep the soil for a new grow, that's when I spend my money. I don't use bottled nutrients. I just use dry amendments 2 or 3 times during a grow starting in mid-veg. A good organic soil mixture should have everything young plants need right off the bat so I'm just focused on water, light, air and training for the first 5 weeks.
