I checked the forum after a couple of years.
And what I didn't discover viroids... It's probably very widespread, because these are plants in europe, lets say in germany:-D
I've been dealing with this for a year, each time it destroys a different gene.
always a couple of plants have the virus.
I cleaned the scissors in 100% alcohol, after each plant cloning process, but always some virus appears.
I've always taken clones from the bottom.... This is consistent with what it says here.
Back then I got some clones with root aphids and this viroid..


I haven't found proper photos, so I'll try to enrich the discussion with some DUDDS. Believe me they are, even one with the mosaic virus. I know what they looked like healthy.

They say viroids aren't viruses. But zinc and boron seem to make both go away.

They are getting tired of being used and evolving to not give us what we want . It's a rebellion .

I honestly have never dealt with this issue but have cold temps do really weird things to my plants (mutations)
