Flower Day 10

The glue is almost done with stretching. In my experience it stretches to day 14 or so. Crowns are just starting to form.

View attachment 2626762

I was half a day late on filling the reservoir for the Glue several days ago and a couple of the mid tips got a light burn. This thing is drinking a full reservoir (3 gallons) a day. My VPD has been fairly consistent, not going above 1.2 kpa since I started flower. My AC Infinity humidifier only comes a couple times per day now.

This is my first time growing SSH so I have had to do a lot of research on it. From what I understand all Hazes are slow to start stretch...sometimes not even starting until day 10, but they continue to stretch for 3+weeks...providing you dont stress them during this time. They also like a lower ppfd during stretch and I am at 650 right now at 2 inches from canopy. I will hit 900-950 at peak intensity in about 2 weeks

I was advised NOT to defolitae until after its done stretching because stress will mess up the internade spacing. I did a light defol on day one by removing half a dozen leaves to improve light penetration. I cleaned up everything below my scrog screen also right before I flipped.

The entire canopy looks great for day 10 IMO. I have the SSH under a 300 watt Maxsisun and the Glue under two 100 watt Atriums Hydras. None of the lights are above 75%.

I'll probly lay another inch or two of soil on top in a day or. Its about all I have room for in this 3rd cycle box. This Glue will appreciate the real estate.

Flower Day 20 Original Glue & Super Silver Haze

I quickly ran out of room this week and I hope the Haze is done stretching. Wall to wall and 4 foot tall (+the boxes)

This is the fullest this closet has been yet. All powered by ~40 gallons of living, breathing, crawling soil. 3 Earthboxes with about 13 -15 gallons of soil each. 2 are on their first cycle and 1 is on it's 3rd. I put the Glue in the older box and didnt amend because it's a light feeder. I did douse it with castings and fulvic acid. Oh...and 1/3 cup of Kelp meal. That should unlock enough food for the Glue.

The Glue should be done stretching and is now stacking.

The Haze, however wants to continue to stretch higher. I only have another 8 -10 inches of headroom if I want to maintain my 18" from light.

1000004618

You can see the crown, but there are a lot of sugar leaves bunched up on top so that usually means it still will stretch
1000004620

Bottom shot. 3 Earthboxes JUST fit in here. 2 under the 3x3 scrog frame and 1 in the other 2 x 3 section. I have been going through 10 gallons of water each day. 3 in each SIP and 1 in my humidifier. Two 5-gallon carboys sat out over night to gas off any chlorine take care of it.

I have a small oscillating heater with temp control I run at night because it still is in the low 40's outside in the coldest part of the night.

This fucker is gonna reek.

Flower day 30

The Super Silver Haze is done stretching. I hope. I am 2-3 inches from the light for half a dozen branches.
1000004677
The plant isnt showing any distress from it yet, but I can raise the light another 6 inches if I need to. Drinking has slowed down to about 2 gallons each day. If I ever grow this again, I am only running one plant in here. It has grown nearly 4 feet during the stretch and it is scrogged. Every leaf is immaculate. Zero flaws.

Here is the data since germination
1000004674

As you can see I did have a couple cold nights and one hot day. No apparent effect on growth. The flower period (since 4/6) has been pretty since consistant.

The Original Glue has been busy stacking. There are actually 2 Glue here but one is completely dwarfed by the other. It's hard to get a decent snapshot of either becasue of their location in the closet

1000004675

The Glue does have a few burnt tips because I missed a res fill early in flower but they are in the middle of the plant. The Glue is also showing a lot of feeder roots so I will need to lay some more soil on her. Other than that it's been straight tap water only.

Jeremy Silva was right when he said that if you get the soil/temp/humidity reight everythingf else works.

Flower Day 36

All 3 boxes are still drinking a lot of water. 3 gallons every other day. I laid some castings mixed with HP Pro mix on top of the Glue to cover the feeder roots.

The colas are 16 inches of solid flower. I have never seen Glue grow this way.

The SS Haze is slower to start but chugging right along. I have 2 distinct phenos here, one with long this flowers and one with chunkier flowers.

My closet is 25 feet from my neighbors front door, and I am in an 'other than legal' state. He is not cool.

My plan is to plant Amaranth all around that corner of the house. It grows 5 feet tall in about 45 days and has large fragrant blooms Its also very edible and is packed with nutrition My granddaughter has 2 Happy Caveys that will really appreciate the treat

Looking Mighty.. 💯👊

Flower Day 44

Both Super Silver Haze are still drinking 3 gallons in about 30 hours. Each. Two different phenos. I thought the one pheno was floxtailing, but from my research and an AI's eyes, its just the Haze genetics. There is no heat bleaching and its symmetrical. The only other Haze I have grown is Durban Poison and it was very similar the way it grew.
1000004740
1000004742

You can see the other pheno of SSH is chunkyer but is a smaller plant.
1000004736

Both of the Hazes are in Earthboxes on their first cycle. I set them up last fall and gave them Kashi topped with Timothy hay to kickstart the fungal layer.

This box is the Original Glue and is on its third cycle. The Glue seems to be very happy with its enviroment. ( as long as I remember to fill the reservoir)
1000004738

One of these gals really reek.

Flower Day 55
Most buds are swelling and getting really sticky except the Haze in the center. Its more greasy. It also was growing into the light, and since I couldn't raise my lights anymore the only option I had was to bend them over.

The black screen is eye level to me
1780272004028

That is just the top of the plant 12" below the light. Here is the bottom
1780271881608

This fucker is massive, it's the 12 week pheno.

The Glue in the back I keep forgetting about. It has a bit of fasciation going on/
1780272299021

Most of the plant is hidden but the entire thing is only about 24" from the floor. It was in the solo cup for an extra week so is a full week of veg behind the other 3.

The front Glue is VERY stinky and sticky

1780272510636

All four plants are exceedingly healthy and starting to put out some serious odor so i hooked up a carbon filter. Hopefully the mail lady wont smell them too much. I'll just smoke a joint before she comes so she thinks it was just that.
