I was going to take clones, then flower the mothers to figure out female from male and then trash the males. It would have worked, if I had better success with the cloning. Being it was my first time.....

I don't understand all the flipping of plants to find out which are male and female. I didn't have a problem with growing them till they showed themselves....7-8 node., then topped to 5th node

I could clearly see what they were , weeks before going outside.

I just hope I didn't fuck up, today. I check my male every day, watching those pollen sac's. Noticed today there were three of them open.😱. Inside he went.!!

We had very little wind today, so hopefully we're still good in the garden, nobody is in bloom as of yet.🫣

Today I finally felt my age. Digging holes, mixing amendments, hauling everything from house to boxes and back was almost too much. (but I love it. LOL)
I got 10 plants installed in the dirt. Whew. Line up is almost the same same as the 12.

Tomorrow I will smooth out the lumps and cover the dirt with landscape fabric.
We have until Friday night to get everything done, it's supposed to be a soaking storm/rain all Saturday.

You might have pollinated your neighbors autos! But that’s not a big deal!😈😆
