Thanks shady! Ya I have been slowly building her up just taking my time. Now all I have to do is finish wiring up my 120mm pc fans and placing them in the correct spots with zip ties and such. I got a steal from newegg. Paid about $20 including shipping for one Cooler master 4 in 1 pack. I plan on installing one fan on each bottom side of the station for intake. Then I will put two on top for exhaust, and then have one on each side of the flouro's to distribute the heat away from the lamps and provide inner circulation. So a total of 8 120mm fans.

Hey shady got any ideas on putting some type of covers over the top exhaust fans so I don't have a lot of light coming in during the dark period without obstructing too much airflow? I was thinking about using some 120mm fan covers, but I know they still let light in. I hear a lot of people just veg 24 hours, but I like the 18/6 approach because I figure plants need some rest period just like outside.

You could use shoe boxes to create a baffle, which would allow air out while blocking light. Or you could bend some thin sheet metal or use low profile duct like I used for the chimney exhaust on my side exhaust. Let me know how it goes...

Day 21 Flower

Hey guys so it's week 3 of flower! Finally this is the week where the flowers start bulking up a bit. So far the resin production is decent. However I beleive I saw more resin on the Green Crack, and Grandaddy at 3 weeks, but I may be mistaken. Hindu Skunk should produce a nice amount of trichs so let's hope I can treat them in the correct manner to do so

Not to much happeneing that is different from the last update though except the flowers have increased in size:nod. I did up the feeding a bit, and I have noticed that they are starting to suck up more water now. Before I watered about once every 3 days. Now I water once every 2 days. Here is what I have been feeding them sine the last update.

Veg tent update:

Alright so I finally wired everything up and it is pretty much ready to go. I need only install the two final intake fans, and the front wall/door. I forgot to swing by the hydro store today, but tomorrow I will go and pick up a couple of those handy tarp zippers for the wall/door. I am still unsure of when I will begin the veg stations debut. It might be more towards the beginning of the next quest since I want to take a few days off after this quest to go and hang with my brother. I'll get some pictures up as soon as it's finished.

Nice update bruh! I predict lots of trichomes all over those plants. The tips of those leaves are starting to curl up a bit. I bet theres going to be trichs lining 'em. Lots of bubble hash :bongsmi:

I'm too loaded off this stuff we got called 'Number 2' and some Green Crack I was gifted from a good friend of mine....ya know!? lol

Ya I have read up on that leaf blade fringes standing up in the past. If I'm not mistaken it is either a sign of high mineral conditions, or an inability to give off enough moisture from the leaf. Since the plants dry out every 2 days I am assuming that it means a high mineral condition is present. They have been doing that since probably about week 2-3 of veg so I am not to worried about it since everything seems to be going just fine. Just took some night shots a little bit ago and the resin is finally starting to come out fairly decent like.

I have some night shots up for you guys. I like to take them so I can get in the true color of the plants and beleive it or not it helps to identify deficiencies that you might not see under the HPS or white balance.

(for instance in this first pic I can already tell that I am starting to have a light N def so I need to up it a little bit)

It looks like we have a similar grow going but I started off with a LED light and just switch to a 400 watt HPS close to what you are running.

Another difference is I am using subcool's super soil and have feed them just water since day one and they are looking so good and there is no need for other nutes, I am just giving them some Budswell and molasses every other water

Keep up the great work I will be watching this for sure and check out my grow if you have some time

All good T hahahahaha. Man i went to check on my thread and as I scrolled down I saw your plants, and I thought whoa these aren't mine am I in the wrong thread?

No worries though, that subcools super soil interests me greatly for outdoor as it would require less maintenance. Good looking plants by the way.

Yeah look into the soil, I am looking threw peoples thread hearing about deficiencies and them trying to fix it.

If you start out with good soil like this, no guessing work needed. I am hoping they should make it to the end without adding anything other than the molasses and Budswell

And that is just the enhance the taste & flavor plus size

Wow so it's day 28(week 4) of flower already! Man when I'm growing it really seems like time passes a lot faster. I remember back when I was underfeeding them in the first couple weeks of life, and I sure am glad they were able to recover from that. So far this is what I have been feeding them as of late.

So as for PPM's the max I have hit with them so far is about 950. I am assuming that a build up of PPM's probably exist within the medium so it is probably slightly higher then 950 in the medium. I would've gone a little higher earlier, but I started to see very slightly burned tips on the problem child(the hindu that received too much N in the past) so I will slowly increase the dosage by maybe 100ppm next feeding. I am actually glad that one plant received too much N because I can look to her and see possible nute burn before all the others so she acts as a gauge of events if you will.

Veg station update: So I am done installing everything except for cutting the actual vent holes. I made my vegetation door with two tarp zippers. As to make sure the bottom flap of the door seals I used magnetic tape on the frame and the inside of the door flap that way it seals to the frame. I constructed the bottom flooring in a way that it does not touch the ground so I can move it around on wheels if I need to. I will most likely finish it up before next weeks update so I should have some pictures for you(finally right?)

i stoped counting rounds i just grow im always cloning veging flowering harvesting so stoped counting great work especially for just the 400 watter bro
