2000w bare bulb trees- how many plants?
I am sick of my reflectors. I am going to be building an ebb'n'gro setup using a 8 gal controller and 5 gal round buckets w/ 3/4" pipe. I want to use a 100gal feeding trough, which will limit me to under 10 plants.
My room is about 8x7, of which 3ft in the center will be too bright for the plants to be into. No CO2, I use a pro-filter 100 hung over the bulbs with a 700cfm 8" Fan pushing air out, and I pull air in through two separate intakes, one 6" 470cfm and one 8" 700cfm. Usually just the 8" is needed.
Since the bulbs are going to be hung in the room and there are only two bulbs, how many plants will I be growing? I was thinking either 6 or 8. Here is a room layout showing 8 plants. Do any of you bush/tree growers think I should do 6 instead of 8?
