ok, got it. :-D i will keep in touch and post more photos with the progress tomorrow. Thanks a lot for the help! :hi
Oh and...one more thing, they are still growind in height and each day i must raise the light bu 1/2 cm in order not to burn them. i keep them very close to the light, about 2-4 cm.

Good job man.

Is there any ventilation etc in there to cool a HPS?

IF you cannot vent heat at all, dont bother with a HPS, it will get too warm. If i had no means to cool a HPS, I'd go with CFLs. They still produce a fair amount of heat you you can get them nice and close and knock some of them off if needed on warmer nights..

Whats ur airflow n ventilation capablities?

Well....my airflow capability is to open the door hahahaha :giggle:giggle
Well...i'm open for sugestions..i don't know what can i do. I have a closet in my room and that's the growroom.
It would be enough to open the door and use a fan to blow air at my plants?
Or i need to drill wholes into my closet and do what then? :happy
What are my options?

Will there ever be times u have to close the door. Basically with a no venting set up. Your temperatures would be incredibly high very quickly with a HPS.

Can you place a small clip on fan aimed at the plant canopy inside the closest to move air around them and give them sum chance?

Remember HPS get so hot that with no vent or cover, they'd melt ur skin to touch n could crack/pop.

If you can get a portable air Con unit, and hide it away somewhere and run a small duct from it to the closet. That would take care of temps for a small HPS and provide some airflow with only one hole needed.

How are u dealing with smell issues for flowering?

I'd never think of putting a hps anywhere without a cooltube or AC. It'd be nuts if i have to close the door. Perhaps you can buy a small tent about table top high, and disguise it in ur bedroom as a counter. Stick a piece of wood over it and cover the whole thing in a blanket and put some crap on it?

If you can cut one 4inch hole somewhere in ur closet. Maybe at the top so it vents upwards and no one sees it.
Then put a inline fan up there (could even be outside the room on the top of a wardrope) and run a duct into the room with a filter on the end. That would suck hot air out, and deal with smells and only need one hole which is easily hidden. A small clip on fan blowing the hot air upwards would be helpful!

What do u think?

I think this is the best solution for my situation. But i will consider this on the next grow.
Right now i'm keeping all day long and night a window open and the closet is close to it and the smell goes out. Pretty much of it.
What i'm not sure of it that if i drill a whole on the top of the closet and i put a tube inside the closet and a fan on the other end of the tube then the filter. The fan must blow air outside closet right? and...if i keep all doors shut all the time will it manage to keep the temperature down?
Right now the temperature doesn't rise over 26 Celsius, at night drops to 23 C
So what do you think?
by the way, thanks for your help!

3 weeks for sure, maybe 4.

I think they will get bigger since they are in mid flowering. You have to wait and see.

They look ok?It's a poor crop,i hope i get at least 50 g, but it's my first attempt.:anim_30:
I can see on the top of the buds the pistils are starting to go yellow unlike the other ones that are still white. This means they are getting closer to harvest time. I've cut the nute supply and they get clear water.
What do you think? 1/2 weeks until harvest?
When it's the best time to harvest?
How can i tell it's time to harvest?:harvest:
Thanks in advance. :hi

check the trichomes on the buds to know when they are ready to harvest.
get yourself a magnifier... 30x - 100x magnification.
clear trichs = not ready
milky trichs = nearly ready
milky-amber trichs = ready

They still have a bit to go alrite. All those bright white hairs will start to turn orange and be pulled in to the plant. It will look less 'fresh'

A scope is a great way to tell when its ready if your unsure yourself.
usually very cheap too. a few bucks.

You will usually see alot of yellowing aswell on Fan leaves as the end approaches.

Thanks a lot again....i saw that some of the pistils started to go brown and they look less fresh than the others. this means the bud is getting "cooked" right? they all have to be brown to be ready to cut.
Am i right?

Hi stormannorm, only one of them was 12/12 from seed, actualy from clone... as i've noticed she has small buds but the other have been on vegetation then on flower like in the "book". Here are some pictures

As you can see in the pictures i've also prepared the next generation, but i don't have another room to get them into veg. I taught that by the time this little ones come out the old ones will be done but now i got myself stuck with both of them...will the little ones be affected by the 12/12 light? how much longer can the old ones take to finish?
