Temps, PH, and some nutrients can all cause that donedolla. Are they slimy? Get some h202 while you're at the hydro store.

they aren't slimey. just brown but the ends of the roots are still white. Whens the earliest time i can start taking clones to determine sex? i wanna get the two females into bubble buckets a.s.a.p

You can take clones once a branch has developed that has at leat 2 nodes (leaf sets). Have you read up on cloning? You may want to before you go to the store to make sure you get anything else you need (a heat mat is a great tool for cloning).

ive done a bit or reading think ive got everything ready for clones. ive got a heat mat, and the rooting gel. . i think thats all thats really needed.

Are you gonna using rapid rooters? Got a humidity dome and seedling tray with inserts?

i have the tray and humidity dome and alos a heating pad for underneath. I was gonna use just RW not rapid rooters, not even sure how those work

Totally different means to the same end dd. Rapid rooters are very simple to deal with and come pre-soaked with micro nutrients. I soak them in water PH'd to 5.8-6 with a drop or two of bloom nutrient. They have a precut hole to insert your cutting. Keep the humidity high and you should be fine. Gotta a good spray bottle for misting?

My light is still 2 ft away can i bring it down closer to the plant now? im go again its a 400 w MH

What are the temps at the canopy level? If they are 75 or less you can bring it down. Over 75 and you better get a(nother) fan on them when you lower it.

its just above almost 80 but my fan can be lowered also cause right now its on the smae level as the light.

btw i only put the fan on 3-4 hours a day the rest of the time its off. But i have an exhaust fans so temps stay below like 82

Get those temps down. Try to always keep it under 80F. Keep the fan on the same timer as the lights and have it blowing directly on the plants.

Im deciding wether i should take clones or not at this point?

I think they are all females which im really excitied about. I see little hairs on the nodes off all of them but they are like microscopic and im not sure if what im looking at is actually hairs or if its some kind of leaves growing.....

Grow turing real bad only have 2 plants left alive i wanna transplant them into the 6 inch netpots but how there is soo many roots comming out of hte small pot now?

Sorry to hear that man. Maybe you should try a real straight forward soil grow to get you feet wet dd. It's tough to try to get to know the plant and all the hydro stuff at the same time.
