Automated Raising/Lowering of Lights

how long is the mounting track and bar? can't find that on the website.

Home depot brother in the electrical section. It is c channel with oval holes in it. Not sure of the name but it is used to run lights for comercial lighting. They come in 10' sticks.

yeah right it's unistrut. I was just wondering how long between the two cables?

I bought an electric winch for $120, Pullys from tsc and metal wire and electric conduit bar to hang lights, goes up and down real smooth.

Not sure brother. The room length is 14' and I mounted the pully to one side and the cables hit the ground with the pully system pretty much center of the 14' give or take 1/2". Hope that helps.

I bought 2 electric conduit bars I think 2 inch maybe1, I cut one in half and then screwed them together (they come threaded) this made it 15 feet long. Connected it at 3 points with the cable. Boom works perfect ill snap some pics if want

where the 3 cables coming from the bar connnect to winch hook where the conduit bars screw together

Man is a manual version of the gator... I love it. Beats the hell out of trying to clime a latter working with hot bulbs..... so far so good. Just need plants under it damn it!

I was going to biuld the same thing with two harbor freight weinches I like how you just use one Im going to copy you space cab , you the man thanks for sharing
