Mighty Mustard Or Rape Seed As A Cover Crop

Anyone have any experience using mighty mustard or rape as a cover crop with cannabis? My concerns would be the possibility the tannins effecting the "beneficial" fungi and/or the worms in my soil. The benefits, could be a carrier of multiple phosphate solubizing microbes.

I used no lime. I decided to take your advice and just mix up the base soil parts and get that tested. it was just 1part malibu compost, 2 parts wormgold plus, 3 parts premier peat and 2.5 parts growstones .5 part red lava rock and 1(ish) part black owl biochar.

Coot's Mix No Till Soil Help

my best bet is probably go with the kis type ratios. so + 2/3rds peat and 1/3 aeration. i can get heavy as all hell lava rock, so that'll prob be my aeration addition. hopefully that'll level out some of these excesses im seeing.

    Sourcing Organic Composting Materials

Any links or names for me to start at? Lignin is present in all plant matter, its just much higher in pine needles, oak leaves, wood, etc. its & its harder for the soil life to break down. If i had the time and space i'd make wood compost but i do not.

Thanks for all the replies, still no one know about sphagnum not being able to take any chemical ferts/pesticides? & didnt rodale determine that pine needles lose their acidity rather quickly, with their high lignin content being why they take so long to break down? Im not looking for nutrient...
