It’s technically not “Organic” if you introduce synthetic compounds and soil should have silica init albeit not as available as Silicic acid. If you do decide to use, make sure to add it first before any nutes and mix well for a couple of minutes to avoid any reactions and be sure to adjust PH...
Hello the light you have is about perfect for that size tent it averages out at 45w/sq. Not sure on ideal pot size for that space it comes down to preference really. Sounds like a good project man good luck!
Hi and sorry your question wasn’t answered I will try to help. Has this affected all the new growth across the plant or is it just the tops closest to the light? Can you give some details on your setup like lights, nutes, medium, temp, RH etc?
Not really as it still a build up and it’s used as a buffer for alkalinity to stop it ruining pipes but it can build up in the medium and create an alkaline environment especially if you don’t have run off so what I do is use a zero water filter which is basically ro water and add calmag and...
You’ll be fine. If your plant shows any signs of stress like burnt leaf tips then just make a weaker mix and run a bit more through the pot. Make sure to feed a little calmag, not too strong as your tap is quite hard. Water every time for consistency as most of your tap is probably carbonates...
Yes get rid of lower leaves if not getting light for better air flow and if it’s not a problem then definitely add another fan at the other side and have both fans blowing in sync. Looking good so far!
Calmag always with RO! Use it as a buffer to stabilise PH too. In general
Add around 200ppm of Calmag then add nutes and ph anywhere between 6-7 soil. Don’t obsess over it just get it in range.
Unfortunately, the damage is already done so just back off the lights and nutes to give them the best...
So for eg, a Mars hydro TS2000 which is of average efficiency is 300watts. At 18 inches from the canopy will average 1000PPFD. Factor in the fact he said he’s running a 20/4. So, 1000x60x60x20/1000000= 72DLI! Now, I know there are many variables like efficiency, reflection etc but as a...
I can get an idea of dli if you tell me the true wattage of the fixture and how close it is to the canopy. It still could be too close, leds are deceivingly powerful
You would be better with an exhaust fan for that space. I doubt a none compressor dehu would be sufficient. When the plant fills the space it just won’t keep up with transpiration, and a compressor dehu would require more “breathing space” to work effectively inside the tent. I tried to run a...
Thats better bro can see the heads better I think maybe another 1-2 weeks and it will be ready. I don’t mess about with percentage amber as soon as I see an amber on the calyx I pull as most of the time it’s at peak potency with the rest being cloudy
Very nice first grow buddy! Chop it down just before you go away, I can't zoom into the Trichomes but they seem to look cloudy. If you can post a close up of the trichome heads on the calyx that would be very useful!
