Yea using RO, you know you can go to your local aquarium store and get 5 gallon jugs of RO water for 50c a gallon right? I also agree. The PH perfect stuff is not perfect. Infact adding CalMag got my PH closer to a good PH. When I just add the nutes, my PH is pretty acidic, 5.6-5.7ish, adding...
Awesome man! Mines doing pretty good! I think I'm going to switch nutes because the PH perfect line doesn't seem to work well with Autos with Hydro setup
No, the issue went away, the spotting stopped, and the affected leaves spots got darker and stopped spreading. I removed the 50%+ damaged leaves, and affected leaves perked up vs sagging.
Not sure what you mean, I'm just saying I went against advice and added cal/mag with these nutes and it fixed my issue. For me though, I believe my issue is because I'm growing autoflower so using quarter / half strength all in one PH Perfect nute with RO water left me with a cal/mag deficiency.
I don't recommend going against the advice of these experienced growers, but I added cal / mag in a half dose to mine and they perked right up and stopped "rusting" overnight, imo those nutes + RO water was a bit on the acidic side and all that happened for me is a slight raise in PH (closer to...
I didn't cal mag or ph adjust until the damage was pronounced. Although I did run a tiny dose of nutes the first 2 weeks to play it safe since they are autos
Gotcha, I trimmed off almost all of the old damage previously. I'll up nutes a little more next change and leave out cal mag again and see how it goes.
Can't hurt either way, it's not really "messing" with my ph other than bringing it up a little higher but still in the good zone. Added Bonus: more nitrogen and my auto isn't showing any signs of burn, so could kick up the next change a bit in PPM if she will let me 😁
Yea I just mean it was twice as pronounced yesterday, added cal-mag, and most of it went away and a nice growth spurt, plant is more perky than droopy. It's either a cal/mag deficiency, or the PH increase closer to 6 from cal mag fixed whatever the issue was. I did notice these nutes are pretty...
So was and still is def calcium or magnesium deficiency. 1 day after I did that fresh water change and nutes at 1/2 str this time ( 520ppm and no cal/mag ) the brown "rusting" was all over the older leaves and starting to show up on some newer growth. I'm 100% certain I dropped a half dose of...
Yea, holding at 500ish PPM for 1-2 more weeks then adding big bud and possibly some carbs. then overdrive to keep her alive an extra week or so before flush
Looking alot better eh! Just bumped her up to 500ppm / Half Strength nutes, will see how she goes and add cal/mag again if I see additional brown spotting
