I think freezing them is imortant. And I also dig the holes 2 foot below the plants. Keeps any smells coming up. I live on a river, and we have so much wildlife. Saw a porcupine the other day crossing the backyard. Lol just lumbering up the river. 😆

Got some heads this year! Whitefish, walleye, trout, and pike. Got em bagged up, put in freezer. Will be burying them tomorrow!! LETS GROW!!
