Ive started using diluted pool shock in my aerocloner and before I add water to the cloner I test the ppm with pool strips. If im mixing a new batch everything is fine but if I add that same amount back 3 days later, chlorine wont even show up on the test strips?

The plant in the back (#1) has had drybacks while the plant in front (#2) is getting water daily as an experiment. Both had two drybacks at transplant to promote root growth. How do people water daily and have happy plants?
