Looking over my plants I found one with some funny shaped buds. Most of the buds seem normal but these are funny. The top of the bud is bulbous with smaller buds below. They look like mushrooms to me. Lol

I've got these buds on my Tropicana Banana plant I've never seen. Best way to describe is they look like Christmas trees. They are tall and pointy. I hope they fill in. I will get more pics. Are these normal buds or a genetic screw up?

My 2 potted plants look strange to me. My son even said they look like they are fake. The leaves are a decent green but the surface of the leaves are very dull looking. Not supple at all. They sort of have a crepe paper appearance. What could be going on?
