My 2 potted plants look strange to me. My son even said they look like they are fake. The leaves are a decent green but the surface of the leaves are very dull looking. Not supple at all. They sort of have a crepe paper appearance. What could be going on?

What medium are they in?
Do you know the strain you are growing?
What are you feeding them and how much?
How often and how much are you watering?
Are the yellowing leaves, I can somewhat make out in the background, just old leaves or is something else going on?

Probably need a better look at the plants, as a whole, and a close up of the leaves you are trying to diagnose, maybe when it is daylight out?

I can't help you diagnose, but these answers/photos will help others diagnose for you.

Thank you. Will get better pictures.

If it feels like paper probably potassium. My first guess was sulfur. That or your pH is way off in the medium.

Here are pics of the whole plant. They aren't far off from the mother plant. My other potted plant is the same way. They are in Roots Organic original soil with some worm castingsI am using Gaia Green for nutrients. The yellowing on this plant is prevalent on my other in a pot. They seem to look hungry to me also.

It looks much better than it did a few weeks before. I was under watering and it came back well. Do you top dress more often than once a month? Am I waaaaay over thinking all this? I am very prone to wory over nothing.

I'm in 20 gallon pots, and only do half the recommended topping, been doing good so far. About once a month. What really helps is compost and some earthworm castings. They are rich in the biology needed to make the organic magic happen. It's a different ideology growing organically than from bottles. With bottle salt based nutrition we are directly feeding the plant. With the carbon based organic inputs, we are directly feeding the soil. The soil in turn takes care of the plant for us.
