Lots of Colas. Should I trim?

No. This is the first time I've had such luxuriant growth, and I'm wondering if having so many colas will mean the buds'll be small or of low potency. To add to my uncertainty, I just moved to Oregon and so this is my first time growing outdoors in this climate and I don't entirely know what to...

Lots of Colas. Should I trim?

Below are pix of my Platinum GCS and Golden Pineapple. They're growing in NW Oregon, were planted on 4/20 (of course) in 15-gallon cloth pots as 6-inch clones. It's two months later and they're both preflowering vigorously and about 3' tall. At a guess, each plant looks like it'll have 25+...

    The plant's too damn big!

I planted this Cropical Fruit autoflower expecting it to get no more than 18" high, since the last time I grew one of these (outdoors, in Northern California) it was a midget. This one, though, is now about 2 and a half feet tall and I have run out of ceiling height to raise the light any more...

Newbie to Oregon -- Growing Outside. What Works?

Sounds like humidity is going to be the big deal around here (Portland suburbs). I live on a hill, so I generally get afternoon winds, so maybe that'll help. I'm growing in 15-gallon fabric pots, so that should insulate me from creeping pests, but caterpillars are airborne. However, I'm...

Newbie to Oregon -- Growing Outside. What Works?

Thanks! Very helpful. I had planned to set up a tent for rain, but the blower thing sounds good, too. Blow dry them very gently, I assume. Also, what's PW? I have experience with bud rot, even in NoCal, but it was usually caterpillar-induced.

Newbie to Oregon -- Growing Outside. What Works?

Just moved to Portland from Northern California, where the growin' is easy. I understand that growing outside in Portland can be dicey because of it, well, raining all the time. I just brought home two clones, a Platinum GSC and a Golden Pineapple. Any words of wisdom out there? TIA.
