Accidental reveg (4 days of Light) in week 4

Thank you. I simply kept them going on 12/12, sprayed with switch 2x (day 1 of discovery and day 17 after discovery) in my attempt to keep them from herming. 2nd, they dramatically stopped drinking water so I had to back off and reintroduce multiple waterings. Theres definitely some funky...

yes, it definitely was. Many have near full recovery right now. It literally set me back to week1. Here’s the recovery shots. Many more look even better. But this mistake killed me.

Accidental reveg (4 days of Light) in week 4

Hello guys, I was on my way to a great start to flower, defoliated day 21 and raised lights up on day 22. I noticed some odd bud developments starting around day 24. Day 26 I noticed 3 of the lights were staying on and corrected that day. While raising the lights the cord must have rubbed on...

Rice Root Aphid infestations =Claw & Deficiencies

Yep - infestations are sometimes the last resort of your investigation if you cannot see the bugs physically - but I’ve been doing this long enough to rule out a few things at a time or test my findings. Root aphids are some of the worst but I’ve never seen Rice Root Aphids before and thought...

Rice Root Aphid infestations =Claw & Deficiencies

You would and you’d be correct except the culprit is a Rice Root Aphid infestation. Throwing more nutrients won’t help.

Rice Root Aphid infestations =Claw & Deficiencies

Thank you - these assholes just about drove me crazy thinking something was throwing my water quality to hell but in reality these damn Rice Root Aphids were the source! They spread quickly and cause damage that one would think is due to watering or poor fertigation. I hate these little bastards.

Rice Root Aphid infestations =Claw & Deficiencies

Hello all, I ran into some issues recently and noticed all plants were exhibiting some progressive deficiencies. These deficiencies didn’t make any sense with how small they were: I’m in coco/perlite 50:50. Feed every day and had these issues once before and originally attributed the...

    Clawing tops: please help

Not wind burn as I don’t have anything in direct wind. Lots of air movement but I was leaning towards low humidity or heat.... but both are in control so I’m thinking it’s ok - not experiencing any aggression of tacoing. Now, the red-brown striations definitely point me towards pH fluctuations...

    Clawing tops: please help

Update: — no more clawing —— I have been watering 3x a day on an Every-Other-day schedule and 1 watering in-between those days ——— so my watering schedule looks like (3x-1x-3x-1x watering) Plants have been responsive and having insane growth spurts. Now, I am still seeing some issues crop up...

    Clawing tops: please help

Update: I’ve stated course of watering Every other day (2-3x per day) and here’s the result: Nearly everyone has darkened up and normalized to a great color of green and is flourishing. A few plants are still a bit off but they’re on their way out of the woods. I’ve changed my ppm input to...

    Clawing tops: please help

The attached pictures show the deficiencies that have developed from last week to this week. Many of the plants no longer have clawed leaves and have come out of that state. Deficiency looks like: Ca/Mg/Phosphorus Yesterday was the 2nd watering where I had on the every-other-day, watering...

    Clawing tops: please help

I will allow the roots of the plants grow bigger and deeper and then increase my fertigations as I see they’ve fully recovered.

    Clawing tops: please help

‘Twas a mistake to put the gallon of peat/coco with coco/perlite I’ll admit. My thinking was that the Growers Soil was drying out in less than a day and placing mostly in coco/perlite would be fine and thus I could treat like coco. It not necessarily that they perked up but the growth coming...

    Clawing tops: please help

Update: the issue was overwatering. I let the medium dry a bit for about 3 days and the new growth is coming in just fine. The peat of the 1 gal root ball was holding too much water for too long. I’ll post update pics soon.
