Spectrum Tuning ---> with full power

It t For sure you can run the Kale with no added Co2 and still see great results. I’m running one in a 4x2 tent currently and not supplementing and I’m seeing awesome bud production.

Spectrum Tuning ---> with full power

Sure yeah I actually ran Viper in Veg. I was setting up a Fluence production facility in Portland OR Couple things, with the spectrum tuning you have the ability to bring in/take out reds when needed for terpene production or preservation depending on your spot in a run. Also the ability to...

Spectrum Tuning ---> with full power

Really nice set up! You have you set up all dialed in. Sounds to me like spectrum tuning will be your next step. Those MA regulations make it more difficult for sure. I used to be a Spydr 2x grower myself and these lights are indeed some next level tech. The tuning in the Alpha has given me a...

Spectrum Tuning ---> with full power

A look at the new Alpha running a recipe simulation of a full day at 500 PPFD. Starting with cryptochrome activation going into sunrise, full sun, sunset and then full red phytochrome. As the recipe changes the spectrum throughout the day the PPFD stays in the desired range.

    Just another bug identification !!

Yeah I was leaning Weevil just due to that first shot and Antenne location but Billbug would be my second thought for sure.

Tips and ideas for lowering costs of growing.

Been playing with this new apogee meter by far the most accurate meter I've seen in a bit. I understand the PAR push back and as MiMedgrower said you can do some math from Lumen reads to get some solid numbers. Looking for PPFD mesures is the best bet always.

Tips and ideas for lowering costs of growing.

Lumens are for humans my friend. That is a measure of light for sure but a poor measure for plant lighting looking toward PAR is way more effective and accurate Lumens however can give you an overall rating of light intensity

Nutrient toxicity/ deficiency? Lockout? Please help!

Fox Farm soil mixes and Nutrients don't have much calcium associated with them. It looks like and Calcium issue but it's hard to tell under the Blue/Purple lights. I've seen these on lower leafs with our LED's. If you are seeing some clawing from N you may want to look at Cali Magic since it has...

    Light stress? Nitrogen deficiency?

Looks like light stress to me. Sometimes the new growth can be more sensitive to it could be the reason for that cola showing damage first.

New here - Discoloration of seedlings ( Autos) - cause for concern?

Yeah looks like Cal in that picture and if you have your humidity up you’re on the right track. Those blue/purple lights can push those deficiencies for sure. Just watch how much nitrogen is in your cal/mag mix you can over N really quick.

New here - Discoloration of seedlings ( Autos) - cause for concern?

Like Aqua Man said earlier, careful with that Cal-Mag! Does look/sound like a nutrient issue not fungal/bacterial root system picture would be helpful

    Planting not flowering

Do you have any access to a light meter? I see a lot of stretching in the ones way from your LED light bars.

    Planting not flowering

This is good advice right here. Stick to normal light schedules until you get them dialed in then start playing with DLI

    New LED's, General questions

That’s a solid app. Used it a few times around the office. I imagine the succulents going under these lights could take a higher lux and heat? I’m curious to see if Co2 will be used for them!? It would be dope if so. I’m guessing they have limited uptake compared to what we are used too. The...

    New LED's, General questions

True, I didn't think those spider farmers tossed that much IR and I think the 2000 has dimming but I would say to use caution as Aqua Man suggests

How often can I use neem oil on plants?

Your best bet Your best bet for long term control would be some beneficial insects Rove beetles, will be the buck shot for most stuff those will keep your populations down. The neem won't do much for you with aphids. As far as sprays go check Mammoths crop control and trifecta. Hort oil will...

    New LED's, General questions

    1) You could go closer than 18" with that light, probably as close as 8" the main reason is to get your light to spread more evenly and not get hot spots. 2) The burn is from the heat from the light and not the light source also you have a more narrow band of wavelength with a grow light...
