I've never had a great sniffer, my wife on the other hand reminds me it smells like skunk during her daily laps around the house. My grow is in an old building behind the house.

Normally seedling don't need any nutrient for 3-4 weeks. Depending on the soil you may not need nutrients for a month or more.

I start seedlings in solo cups with holes in the bottom, they're a lot easy to guage when they need water. With Gallon pots it's hard to tell if the plants are getting water or not

If they are green and drooping they're normally over watered.

What I did was put the same amount of soil in an empty cup and use it as reference (by weight) as to when they need and don't need water. Don't put any water in your reference cup. When your plants weight is the same as your reference cup add water.

Air temp doesn't equal soil temp. What are your soil temps? I find 77° best for seedlings. If they are on a concrete floor and/or your soil temps are below 70, that may your problem.

You do realize your 6 florescent bulbs are pushing 240 watts and the light on order is only 150 watts?
