    First official grow

They'll be fine, just add a little more soil, but once them stems start to thicken out they will be perfectly normal

    First official grow

Looking like very healthy seeds! I would highly recommend giving them only plain water until these starter leaves turn yellow and begin to almost fall off, the soil has plenty of fertilizer in it to get it by for now.

21 year old Newbie Florida Cannabis Grower

@dire wolf Settle down there old timer! Jk. You are right though, its both great and aggravating that newbie growers can grow such great weed on their 1st harvest. You my good sir got extremely lucky! You're hard work paid off. Then why did I call it luck then??? Well because: 1) You managed...

    Soil is very acidic

This one is really cheap but also capable of being calibrated, if you are looking for a cheap but accurate one i would highly recommend this. The only downside is that you have to buy the calibration solution separately...

    Soil is very acidic

The only downside with those is that as the liquid drops or capsules age their effectiveness goes down dramatically, and you have no idea how long they been sitting around for before you got them! I will admit though, they could be accurate as of right now, but there's no real way to know...

    Soil is very acidic

Also i would highly recommend getting a PH meter (even if its a cheap one, as long as its able to be calibrated). Those color drop tests are horribly inaccurate!

    Soil is very acidic

Dolomite lime, oyster shell, kelp meal, potash, algae extracts. All these are good products for raising soil PH. Becareful using too much of the same product though because excess nutrients can leach out depending on the type of amendment being used.

Can you define what causes these problems?

Top pic looks like signs of early calcium deficiency but you shouldnt be deficient this early in. If it progresses then i would say its most likely calcium deficiency, but truth be told i wouldnt worry too much, its very minor, please the plants still look great considering, you shouldnt really...

    Coco/Perlite or Coco/Soil/Perlite/Humus?

You can add any organic matter to coco as far as soil, worm castings, guanos, manures... Etc. But once you add these types of organic material to coco the one thing you cant do is treat it like pure coco anymore. What i mean by that is that you don't want to water it constantly like coco, and...

    Sick plants root aphids

A good remedy that wont tweak your plant is Nematodes. But you will have to water with dechlorinated water every watering. That and you could try a product called AZAMAX or AZASOL, although this product doesnt actually kill insects it makes them sterile, if they cant breed then they cant turn...

First grow ever think i need a little help.

They actually look really good! Just be careful in fox farm soils not to over water, but from the pics i would say your doing good so far! Just keep it up.

Root Aphids, Fungus Gnats, and other fun bugs (ID PICS)

These guys are fun to watch, I wouldnt worry about them, most people try to get rid of them because they are bigs, and thus they think they're infested. But springtails are actually benefical insects. Its actually a good sign to see them. A good way to test for the future is to take a piece of...

    Honest opinions, first grow.

Yea idk really the evironmental conditions of your room, but i have my 630 cmh lights at 18" from the top canopy without any bleaching or burning. Some plants seem to sometimes be more sensitive then others but seeing as i run multiple genetics i would say you would be fine with your light...

My runoff PH is always too high

You can use either one, but sulphured molasses you cant use in flush as sulphur is a nutrient your plant will still uptake

    Newbie

Yea if it was me buying LED i would personally go with the more commerical style LED like these ones listed! Thats when you get the most bang for your buck! Those are true H.O. (High Output) fixtures. LED's grow great bud, but ive noticed from a couple buddies of mine that have them their...

My runoff PH is always too high

Micronized sulfur or molasses are good PH downs. Both will naturally buffer the soil to a more acidic range, but like @Edinburgh stated before if your plants aren't suffering or showing signs of deficiencies then i wouldnt worry too much, 7 is neutral. Not the greatest PH range to be at but...
