I have a question about topping off your reservoir. I currently grow in Coco Coir, DTW. I have a 25 gallon res that I will top off with nutrient water every 4 or 5 days.
I usually add about 10-15 gallons when the res gets down to its last couple of gallons. At this time I’m mixing nutrients. I...
Here you go!

Nice, yeah I use recharge too but I was just hand watering it with some of the existing feed solution from the reservoir. I like the idea of making this a weekly flush with just RO water and calmag.
I’ve also started using SLF-100 to help break down the salts. Maybe a little of this in the...
Thanks for all of the tips people! I’m just about wrapped up on this run but I’m going to go substantially lower on the EC for the next run and see where things go.
I did measure before I started and the EC was very low. I’ve had good luck with the Cyco coco. It seems fairly clean and it comes pre-buffered.
Yeah, the biggest thing I’ve read is to make sure you’re fertigating frequently and getting substantial runoff each time. I’m currently at 4x daily...
Hi,
I'm on my second grow in coco and I've been battling salt buildup issues the whole time. I'm not sure exactly what could be causing it. Details on my grow...
Medium: Cyco Coco (70/30)
Method: DTW
Nutrients: Jack's in the 3-2-1 mix. Feeding at 800-900ppm (1.6-1.8 ec)
Fertigation: Automated...
I'm about to wrap up my first grow with General Hydroponics nutes. I'd say that it went fairly well but I've been reading a lot about Jack's 321 formula and I think I'm sold. I love the simplicity of the formula and the cost savings you get with their products. They also seem like a great...
So, I went through two feedings of cal mag water, then did a low ppm feed last night. The plant looks good. Leaf tips are still yellow but it’s grown a lot and looks good.
If the leaf tips are just yellow and not browned or dried out, should they recover or are they yellow forever?
I've been feeding between 5.9 and 6.1 for PH. I'll grab a runoff PH tonight. I don't know why I didn't test that yesterday.
Yeah, I've definitely heard that. That's why I opted to use the Coco for Cannabis feed chart which was custom-tailored to GH nutes and has served me well for 3/4 plants...
Hey all,
I have 4 plants in late veg and one started showing slight yellowing in the tips a couple of days ago. The yellowing really hasn’t really progressed at all since I discovered it but I’m still wondering what it could be. It’s odd because all other plants are pristine.
I first thought...
I will supplement with CalMag once they get a little bigger but from what I've read, most just water with PH'd water in pre-buffered coco until they are starting to grow a bit.
I started germinating seeds for my first grow about 10 days ago. I started with the 12-hour soak in water, then finished in paper towel for 48 hours. Tap roots grew well and everything seemed ok.
Since planting in the starter solo cups, things have been moving painfully slow. There's been very...
That's what I thought. There's a Water-To-Go store near me and they have great water that's pretty cheap. I'll probably go that route. Thanks for the reply.
