Hi all, For a relatively small setup (say 2.5KW of lighting) and assuming the same yield, how much more power does a closed loop setup use vs an open loop setup? Obviously the main extra draw in closed loop will be the AC unit. cheers.

No - I think thy were over fed tho - Someone suggested it could be nitrogen toxicity & I just flushed with ec 1.0 as a precaution. I hope they’re right!

Nice one :) I’ve tried terpinator and it cates my tank and plumbing in organic sludge that took ages to clear up - does Epsom daily’s leave a residue as well? I’ll probably avoid if it does..

Hi all, I hear that sulphur’s good for increasing terpene production. My plants never have a sulphur deficiency or any other, but I’d love to increase the terpenes without adding a false flavour. Has anyone tried this with success? And what would be a good way to go about this? Cheers.

Hi, I’m getting strange stippled leaves with my seedlings. I do use a high intensity of light at this point (a 600w halide at 20” at the moment). Could this be an effect of using too much light?

Ahh no - perhaps I should get some cal mag. My tap water’s background EC is really high, so I dilute to down to about 0.3 or 0.4 with RO water. How should I incorporate cal mag into my setup do you think? I use canna coco and nothing else

Hmm - I was wondering about that too though - perhaps I should foliar feed for a bit to make up any deficiencies.. Could the red stems be because of reverting as well? And could that reduce the eventual yield significantly?

Nice one - I think you’re right. I’m also wondering if it might be because the mothers were accidentally put into flower and reverted back to veg. But either way I have a feeling things should settle down as you say 👍

I’m starting a pheno hunt with a couple of strains. Is it better to keep the original plants that grew from seed as mums or can I use clones taken from those plants as mums?
