nvm I think it is a heat issue. I have a 630watt CMH and it was 18 inches away. It seemed uncomfortable so I raised it to maybe 24 inches if not a little more. The leaves were also cupping on the sides which made me think it was too much heat.

thanks for your replies. Yea I did check to see the plugs but unfortunately whoever wired the house thought it was a good idea to put upstairs plugs together with the whole basement so we have a fridge and alarm clocks etc all connected and with my grow equipment it finally tripped it.

I think that you are thinking of airpots the smartpot is the fabric one. I think they are going to grow into the fabric at the bottom because there wont be any air to prune them and I thought that the air pruned them before they started growing into the fabric but I have the same question...

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows if you use a smart pot and a heat mat if roots will try to grow out the bottom of the pot. Also if the smart pot does get any roots growing into it does it ruin the pot or is there something you can do so you can use it again?
