Let's see your 2021 Outdoor Plants!

They are very delicious. I haven't weighed it yet but I'd say it's about 10-14 pounds. That is Hen of the woods/Sheepshead, depending on local slang. Making wild mushroom soup with some and stir fry for the rest. We had a bunch of morels in the spring. Those were absolutely amazing. Both are...

Improvements needed I believe in my set up

Could use the insulated lines. That should stop the condensation. Wrap the box as well. With that much of a temperature difference on the surfaces it's just like a glass of ice water on a hot day.

Can I dip my pots in water to water plants?

You can water plants from bottom in a tray, they will wick the water up. But I wouldn't recommend dipping them into a bucket.

6 strains in the same hydro system :)

You mentioned topping them and defoliation, after this it will take the plant a few days to recover and begin shifting it's growth. Everything looks on point, roots, structure, color. I'm sure once they get their new homes growth will boom. Very nice set up, I'll be following along

Go to flower or hold out?? VOTE NOW 😛

So true. Haha. Tried a few things here or there. But ONLY on plants that were for experiments. Establish yourself as a grower with some experience and harvests before trying all the "tricks". Most don't work. All comes down to proper environment and nutrient profile. I see too many adding this...

Go to flower or hold out?? VOTE NOW 😛

Do as you wish. But nature doesn't provide a long dark period to initiate flower cycles. Raise light intensity slowly to help control stretch and tuck them back with netting. Ive tried both ways, not a noticable difference IMO. I do keep them in dark before harvest. Last ones went a week in...

Looking great!! Did you top them or just LST? Toss the net on and flip them. Those 4 will definitely fill out your space already.

Let's see your 2021 Outdoor Plants!

Did you amend the soil a few feet around the root area before planting? I've seen this before but it was a very heavy clay soil. So roots searched for the soft soil to grow into, was like hitting brick wall for the roots. Looks amazing so far. Can't wait for everyone's flowering pics.
